About refunds at Migrate Mate
We know money stress is real, especially when you’re navigating something as big and emotional as moving countries. If you’re here, you’re probably feeling frustrated, disappointed, or unsure, and we want you to know that we take that seriously.
We’re a small team working on a genuinely hard problem: helping talented people from all over the world find visa-sponsored jobs in the US. We put an enormous amount of care, time, and resources into building and maintaining this platform, and we truly want every subscriber to feel supported and respected.
That said, being clear about how refunds work helps avoid confusion and focus our time on supporting members who truly need help.
Before you request a refund
Most refund requests we receive aren’t because something went wrong - they’re usually tied to timing, life changes, or misunderstandings about how subscriptions work. If any of those apply, a refund unfortunately won’t be possible.
If you’re unsure, we strongly encourage you to read the policy below carefully. It may save you time, and it helps us focus our limited support capacity on members who genuinely need help.
Also worth knowing: A real human reads every single refund request. Please be kind, we promise we’re doing our best on the other side.
When we can issue refunds
Refunds are available only when there’s been a clear issue on our end, such as:
- A technical problem (platform outage or bug) that prevented you from using Migrate Mate
- A system error that significantly impacted your access or experience
In such cases, refunds are limited to one month’s subscription fee.
When we can’t issue refunds
We’re unable to issue refunds for situations like:
- Forgetting to cancel (or thinking you cancelled when the subscription was still active)
- Deciding not to move or changing your plans
- Login or access issues that we’re able to resolve
- Not securing a job yet
- Finding a job through another source
These outcomes are understandably disappointing, but they aren’t the result of a failure or error on our side.
Submitting a refund request won’t speed anything up if it doesn’t meet the criteria above, and it won’t change the outcome.
