Can I Pause My Subscription?

Yes. Migrate Mate supports subscription pauses for users with an active paid membership.

You can pause your subscription instead of canceling if you need a temporary break.

However, you cannot pause your subscription if:

  • You have already requested a cancellation
  • Your subscription is already paused

How Does Pausing My Subscription Work?

Before the Pause Starts

  • You keep full access to Migrate Mate until the end of your current billing period.
  • No additional action is needed - you can continue using the platform normally.

During the Pause

  • Your subscription is paused for 30 days.
  • You won’t be charged during this period.
  • You won’t have access to Migrate Mate while the subscription is paused.

After the Pause Ends

  • Your subscription automatically resumes.
  • Billing restarts at your normal subscription rate.
  • Full access to the platform is restored.

Can I Unpause Early?

Yes. You can resume your subscription at any time from your account settings.

Once you unpause, billing restarts immediately and access is restored.

How Can I Pause My Subscription?

Step 1: Open the Left Navigation Panel

Log into your Migrate Mate account. Move your cursor (or mouse) to the far left side of the screen. The left navigation panel will automatically slide open when you hover near the left edge.

Step 2: Click on Settings

At the bottom of the left navigation panel, you'll see your profile information (name and role) and a gear icon (⚙️) with "Settings" next to it. Click on Settings to access your account settings.

Step 3: Scroll to the Subscription Section

Once you're in Settings, scroll down through the various sections (you'll see options like Past Searches, Support, etc.) until you find the Subscription section.

Step 4: Click Pause subscription

In the Subscription section, click Pause subscription.

What Happens If I Cancel Instead of Pausing?

If you choose to cancel your subscription:

  • Your account remains active until the end of your current billing period
  • You continue to have full access to all platform features during that time
  • No additional charges will occur after the billing period ends

This allows you to keep using Migrate Mate while deciding whether to return later.

What Happens to My Account Data After Cancellation?

After your subscription fully ends:

  • Your saved jobs, job applications, and profile information are retained for 30 days
  • If you return during this period, you can reactivate your subscription and continue where you left off
  • After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted

Can I Rejoin Migrate Mate in the Future?

Yes. You can resubscribe at any time by logging into your account and selecting a new subscription plan.

How Will I Know My Cancellation or Pause Was Processed?

After canceling or pausing:

  • You’ll receive a confirmation email
  • You can verify your status in the Subscription section of your account settings
