Which fintech companies in Florida sponsor TN visas?
Florida's largest fintech employers with known TN sponsorship activity include FIS and Fiserv, both headquartered in Jacksonville, along with Raymond James in St. Petersburg and a growing cluster of payments and lending startups concentrated in Miami's Brickell and Wynwood districts. Larger financial technology firms tend to have established immigration processes, though sponsorship decisions are made on a role-by-role basis.
Which cities in Florida have the most fintech TN sponsorship jobs?
Miami leads for fintech TN roles, driven by its position as a Latin American financial hub with heavy investment in payments, crypto infrastructure, and neobanking. Tampa and Jacksonville follow, anchored by enterprise financial technology companies with large engineering and operations headcounts. Orlando has a smaller but active fintech presence tied to its broader tech sector growth.
What types of fintech roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship in Florida?
Roles that consistently qualify include software engineers, systems analysts, computer systems consultants, financial analysts, and accountants, all of which appear on the TN-eligible occupations list. In fintech specifically, positions involving payments infrastructure, data engineering, quantitative analysis, and financial systems integration frequently meet TN specialty occupation standards. The role must require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field.
How do I find fintech TN sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by TN visa type, the fintech industry tag, and Florida as the state to surface roles where employers have indicated TN sponsorship willingness. This removes the guesswork of cold-applying to companies with no sponsorship infrastructure and lets you focus on fintech employers in Miami, Tampa, and Jacksonville who are actively hiring TN-eligible candidates.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for TN sponsorship in fintech?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects total compensation calculations but does not change TN eligibility requirements. Financial services roles in Florida sometimes require state-level professional licenses (such as Series 65 or mortgage originator licenses) that are separate from and independent of TN visa status. Canadian professionals enter on TN at the port of entry, while Mexican nationals must obtain their TN visa at a U.S. consulate before arriving.
