Start out as a Behavior Technician Trainee and become a Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT) with BAYADA in just a few weeks! Through our BAYADA RBT Academy, we give you the training you need to become certified as a Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT).

BAYADA RBT Academy provides:

- A 40+ hour paid training program to prepare you to become a Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT)
- Receive high-quality training grounded in evidence-based practices in adult learning and applied behavior analysis (ABA) including:
- BAYADA University web-based courses
- Live lectures
- Hands-on training and structured observation
- BAYADA study guides to prepare you for the RBT exam

How You’ll Make an Impact:

RBTs work with individuals with Autism and other Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDDs) to reduce challenging behaviors, increase functional skills, and foster independence and individuality.
- Work directly with clients and follow the established treatment plan
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, families, and pre-school staff
- Implement behavior therapy techniques
- Document interventions and progress towards goals
- Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior plan
- Provide training, instruction, and assistance to help the client acquire and maintain skills and to help meet identified goals

QUALIFICATIONS

- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- No experience necessary
- Complete RBT Academy and pass the RBT Exam to become an RBT with BAYADA!

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE:

- Get paid $16/hour while in training and once you become an RBT your pay will increase to $25/hour!
