Company Description
At Link Snacks, we show up hungry, roll up our sleeves, plaid or otherwise, and dive straight into the hard work. We don’t hide from challenges; we hunt them down. We push harder, move faster, and take the kinds of big swings that built this business in the North Woods of Wisconsin four decades ago.
We’re everyday people who deliver extraordinary results. Innovation, creativity, and urgency aren’t buzzwords, they’re expectations. And just like the real protein snacks we make across our global house of brands—Jack Link’s®, Lorissa’s Kitchen®, Golden Island®, BiFi®, and Peperami® to name a few—there’s nothing artificial about us. What you see is exactly what you get: humble, gritty, passionate people who show up every day ready to not just be a participant in the meat snack industry that the Link Family created, but to move faster, innovate harder and keep raising the bar so high, the rest of the world needs a ladder just to see it.
Dominating this space across the world takes a team. A team that runs together, succeeds together, and celebrates together. A team that’s full of relentless energy and spirit that can only be fueled by one thing: a fist full of our delicious meat snacks.

Which companies sponsor visas for snack bar attendants in Iowa?
Visa sponsorship for snack bar attendants in Iowa is uncommon but does occur at larger hospitality and entertainment operators. Casinos such as Prairie Meadows in Altoona and Isle Casino Hotel in Waterloo, as well as university-affiliated food service contractors operating at University of Iowa and Iowa State University venues, are among the more established employers with infrastructure to support work visa sponsorship.
Which visa types are most common for snack bar attendant roles in Iowa?
Snack bar attendant positions are generally classified as unskilled or semi-skilled hospitality work, making them more likely to be associated with H-2B temporary nonagricultural worker visas when employer sponsorship occurs. H-2B requires the employer to demonstrate a temporary need and obtain Department of Labor certification. H-1B sponsorship is not applicable to this role type, as it requires specialty occupation status.
Which cities in Iowa have the most snack bar attendant sponsorship jobs?
Des Moines sees the highest concentration of relevant employers, given its casino operations, Wells Fargo Arena events, and Iowa Cubs minor league baseball venue. Iowa City and Ames follow, driven by University of Iowa and Iowa State University athletic programs that staff concession and snack bar operations across sports seasons. Cedar Rapids also has entertainment venues that periodically hire for these roles.
How to find snack bar attendant visa sponsorship jobs in Iowa?
Migrate Mate is the most targeted way to find snack bar attendant visa sponsorship jobs in Iowa, as it filters listings specifically by role and state for international job seekers who need employer-sponsored work authorization. Rather than sorting through general job boards, Migrate Mate surfaces Iowa-based snack bar attendant openings from employers who have indicated willingness to sponsor, saving significant time in the search process.
What should international workers know about snack bar attendant hiring in Iowa?
Iowa follows federal Department of Labor prevailing wage standards for sponsored positions, so employers must pay the wage rate established for food and beverage service workers in the relevant metropolitan area. Snack bar roles are often seasonal, tied to sports schedules or event calendars, which affects the type of visa sponsorship available. Workers should confirm with any prospective employer whether their sponsorship covers the full intended period of employment.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored snack bar attendant jobs in Iowa?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
