INTRODUCTION
Reach Logistics is a global eCommerce logistics and strategy company that partners with some of the largest brands in the world to distribute their products on Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and more. We have 7 warehouses in 5 countries around the globe and offer a unique distribution model to our partners. We currently ship 60M units a year and are growing rapidly. Currently the top seller on Amazon, we boast over 1,700 global employees that span over 18 global locations.
We are seeking an Area Manager for our Reverse Logistics department to lead a team and frontline warehouse operations at our Hebron, KY location. This individual will be driving consistent execution across processes with a focus on quality, recovery value, and brand stewardship. This role is exciting because you won’t just manage operations—you’ll build and optimize systems, influence recovery strategy, and directly impact financial performance across our warehouse network. This is a full-time on-site role based in Hebron, KY.
Responsibilities
- Lead frontline warehouse operations for the Reverse Logistics department, ensuring consistent, predictable process execution (quality and adherence over speed/throughput)
- Directly manage 20–30 associates and a supervisor, including performance management, staffing coordination, and ensuring behavioral and process standards are upheld
- Own adherence to operational standards including 5S implementation, labor planning, and process consistency
- Serve as liaison and subject matter expert for Reverse Logistics-related processes across warehouse network
- Manage and maintain operational tools and systems, including updating backend configurations, questionnaires, and workflows to improve associate efficiency
- Oversee and collaborate with a network of downstream liquidation partners, ensuring proper inventory flow, recovery value optimization, and brand stewardship
- Analyze recovery value, product disposition decisions, and process outcomes to balance financial impact with brand standards and operational efficiency
- Build and improve reporting processes —getting hands-on with analytics and process design rather than relying solely on ticketing or external teams
- Provide partial shift flexibility (salary role), including potential split schedule coverage to support future night shift operations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience managing teams (ideally 20+ employees), with demonstrated success in frontline leadership within warehouse, manufacturing, or operations environments.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to evaluate processes, interpret data, and drive measurable process improvements with financial impact.
- Experience building or improving tools, systems, or workflows—preferably with demonstrated math/science-based process optimization.
- Exposure to data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, data visualization platforms); ability to work with backend systems and understand system architecture is preferred.
- Background in supply chain, operations, industrial/operations engineering, manufacturing, or related technical disciplines (Purdue supply chain/operations programs noted as strong pipeline).
- Demonstrated ability to walk into ambiguous or developing environments and “build” processes rather than operate within fully mature systems.
- Comfort balancing operational execution with strategic thinking—particularly in reverse logistics, recovery value analysis, and liquidation networks.
- Strong partnership and communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally and manage nuances across facilities and external partners.
- Flexible - Embraces Change
- Problem Solver
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, including Excel, as well as Google Suite, Gmail
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to walk or stand for 8-10 hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs by hand
- Pallet jack experience (electric or non-electric)
- Pull, push, bend, kneel, crouch
- OT required during peak season (25-30% of the time)
BENEFITS
- Medical PPO and HSA with employer match plan options
- Dental, Vision, STD, Supplemental Insurance plans
- Company Paid LTD and Life Insurance
- 401K match - Match 100% up to 3% and 50% from 3.1% - 5%
- 4 weeks of PTO, accrued semi monthly
- 8 company paid holidays
- Paid bereavement
- Stocked marketplace with late-night meal options
- Product Giveaways

Which artificial intelligence companies sponsor visas in Kentucky?
Healthcare technology companies dominate AI visa sponsorship in Kentucky, including Humana in Louisville and medical research organizations affiliated with University of Kentucky and University of Louisville. Defense contractors like Raytheon and logistics companies such as UPS (with operations in Louisville) also sponsor visas for AI engineers working on predictive analytics, autonomous systems, and supply chain optimization projects.
Which visa types are most common for artificial intelligence roles in Kentucky?
H-1B visas are most common for AI roles in Kentucky, particularly for machine learning engineers, data scientists, and AI research positions at healthcare companies and universities. O-1 visas occasionally apply for AI researchers with exceptional achievements, while TN visas serve Canadian and Mexican professionals in qualifying computer systems analyst or engineer roles at Kentucky's growing AI sector.
How to find artificial intelligence visa sponsorship jobs in Kentucky?
Migrate Mate specializes in connecting international AI professionals with Kentucky employers offering visa sponsorship. Focus on Louisville's healthcare technology cluster and Lexington's university-affiliated research positions, as these represent the state's primary AI hiring centers. Kentucky's smaller AI market means opportunities concentrate heavily in these two metropolitan areas, with occasional openings in Northern Kentucky near Cincinnati.
Which cities in Kentucky have the most artificial intelligence sponsorship jobs?
Louisville leads Kentucky's AI sponsorship market, driven by healthcare giants like Humana and medical device companies requiring AI expertise for patient analytics and automated diagnostics. Lexington ranks second, with University of Kentucky and affiliated research organizations sponsoring AI researchers and data scientists. Northern Kentucky occasionally offers opportunities through companies serving the Cincinnati metropolitan area's technology needs.
What prevailing wage considerations affect AI jobs in Kentucky?
Kentucky's prevailing wages for AI positions typically fall below coastal technology hubs, which can benefit H-1B applications by reducing wage-related complications during the Department of Labor's review process. Healthcare and university-affiliated AI roles often offer competitive compensation packages that meet prevailing wage requirements, while the state's lower cost of living can make Kentucky AI positions attractive despite potentially lower base salaries.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored artificial intelligence jobs in Kentucky?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
