We are seeking a hardworking Dishwasher to join our team at Harraseeket Inn & Event House. This is a Full Time position located in Freeport, Maine.
Work Performed
As part of the back of house team, the Dishwasher will provide our guests with spotless cutlery, plates and glassware. The Dishwasher will also keep pots, pans and kitchen tools clean and ready for the line cooks to create delicious dishes for our guests.
- Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine
- Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes
- Empty trash containers regularly
- Ensure all areas of the kitchen, food prep, and food storage areas are clean and properly sanitized. This includes washing dishes and cooking equipment, cleaning floors, sanitizing countertops and cutting boards, and maintaining all areas to health code standard
- Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to prioritize work when it is needed to accommodate for busy periods
- Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time
- Ability to lift or push up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work onsite at the hotel location
- Hours required: Full Time 25-35 hours per week for Mid; PM; Must be flexible; Weekends; Holidays
- Knowledge of kitchen and restaurant safety and emergency procedures
- Ability to work well with others (i.e. interacts appropriately with guests and staff)
- Ability to follow instructions, complete tasks safely and efficiently, and communicate effectively
- Ability to follow safety policies and procedures and immediately report injuries to their manager or manager on duty
Compensation
$16 Hourly + Gratuity
