Job description:
This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring all production equipment is set up and prepared per production schedule, including labels, batter, stuffing, etc.
- Oversee machine operations and makes minor equipment adjustments.
- Performs metal detections and other quality and USDA required inspections and must be able to read, write and complete necessary paperwork.
- May perform basic maintenance on machines. Contacts Maintenance Mechanic if necessary.
- Interacts with Line Leads to determine equipment set-up and operation.
- May be responsible for machine adjustments when production changeovers occur.
- Will work on production line and ensure product standard.
- Provides assistance to lower-level team members and may train new or recently promoted team members.
PAY: $22.05 hour
HOURS: 1:20 PM - 10:30 PM
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have at least 3 months of machine operator experience within the last 6 months listed on the application (can be a combination of employers as long as the experience is at least 3 months).
- Must be able to read, write and complete necessary paperwork.
