About the Role:
As an AI-forward Full Stack Product Manager at Crunchbase, you will accelerate how we apply AI, automation, and connected systems across the company. This role sits within the Product organization and focuses on building and evolving internal AI-powered applications that increase operational velocity, reduce manual work, and improve how teams execute. You will identify friction across workflows, redesign brittle processes, and ship practical solutions that meaningfully improve how work gets done. This is not a strategy-only role. You will operate as a builder. You will rapidly design, prototype, and launch internal AI-driven tools. You will not “own” every system, but you will modernize, connect, and evolve them so they work better together and materially reduce operational drag. This role is about applied AI, system-level thinking, and execution at speed.
- Identify and Eliminate Operational Friction:
+ Identify manual, repetitive, or brittle workflows across the organization
+ Redesign processes using AI, automation, and system-level improvements
+ Reduce low-leverage work to create space for higher-value thinking
+ Improve interoperability, reliability, and observability across internal systems
- Build and Ship Internal AI Applications:
- Rapidly design, prototype, and launch AI-driven internal applications
- Turn rough ideas into working solutions that can be tested and validated quickly
- Use lightweight, iterative development approaches to accelerate time-to-value
-
Continuously refine and improve tools based on real-world usage and feedback
-
Drive Practical AI Adoption:
- Push the organization toward applied, usable AI — not experimentation for its own sake
- Evaluate emerging AI tools and technologies for pragmatic internal use cases
- Help teams rethink how work gets done in an AI-enabled operating model
-
Ensure AI implementations drive measurable efficiency, speed, or quality improvements
-
Partner Across the Business:
- Work directly with business leaders to understand operational pain points
- Translate ambiguous needs into structured product and technical solutions
- Operate comfortably across Product, Engineering, and business functions
- Align solutions with company-wide goals and measurable outcomes
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, or a related technical builder role
- Experience building or implementing AI-powered applications, automation workflows, or internal systems
- Demonstrated experience operating at the intersection of business and engineering
- Track record of rapidly prototyping and launching practical solutions that improve operational efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience)
- Strong technical foundation in AI, internal systems, automation, and modern tooling
- Ability to design, prototype, and ship working AI-driven solutions independently
- Systems thinker who understands both technical architecture and human workflow design
- Comfortable navigating and improving existing tools without rigid definitions or guardrails
- Builder mindset — prototypes quickly, iterates frequently, and ships practical solutions
- Operates effectively in ambiguity and proactively identifies inefficiencies others overlook
- Action-oriented with a strong bias toward execution and measurable outcomes
- Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into structured product and technical solutions
- Comfortable working across Product, Engineering, and business functions
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated curiosity and fluency in emerging AI tools and capabilities

Which media & entertainment companies in Maine sponsor work visas?
Maine's primary visa sponsors include major television stations like WCSH-TV and WGME, public broadcasting networks such as Maine Public Broadcasting, and regional newspapers including the Portland Press Herald. Film production companies working on Maine-incentivized projects also sponsor temporary visas for specialized roles like cinematographers, editors, and sound engineers during active productions.
What visa types are most common for media & entertainment jobs in Maine?
H-1B visas are most common for specialized roles like broadcast engineers, digital media specialists, and film editors requiring technical expertise. O-1 visas serve established artists, directors, and producers with recognized achievements. TN visas benefit Canadian and Mexican professionals in qualifying media roles, while seasonal productions may use H-2B visas for temporary technical positions.
How to find media & entertainment visa sponsorship jobs in Maine?
Migrate Mate specializes in connecting international professionals with Maine media companies that sponsor work visas. Focus on Portland's media hub where most opportunities exist, including television stations, production companies, and digital agencies. Monitor Maine's film incentive projects which often need international talent for specialized technical roles during active production periods.
Which Maine cities have the most media & entertainment visa sponsorship opportunities?
Portland dominates with major television stations, newspapers, and production companies concentrated in the metropolitan area. Bangor offers opportunities with regional broadcasters and University of Maine media programs. Lewiston-Auburn has growing digital media companies, while coastal areas occasionally need media professionals for tourism marketing and documentary productions focused on Maine's maritime industry.
What are the prevailing wage requirements for media jobs in Maine?
Media professionals in Maine must meet Department of Labor prevailing wage standards, which vary by role and experience level. Technical positions like broadcast engineers typically command higher wages than entry-level production roles. Maine's lower cost of living compared to major media markets can make prevailing wages more accessible while still meeting visa requirements for most media and entertainment positions.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored media & entertainment jobs in Maine?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
