ROLE OVERVIEW
The Operations Coordinator is a critical professional role responsible for synchronizing technical operations, international procurement, and facility logistics for our high-tech manufacturing site. This position requires a bilingual professional (English/Mandarin) capable of translating complex engineering documentation, managing technical vendor ecosystems, and optimizing the operational workflows of a large-scale industrial launch.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Documentation & Linguistic Integration

Engineering Translation: Provide high-level technical translation for US-based Engineers, converting equipment manuals, schematics, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) from Mandarin to English to ensure operational safety and compliance.

Linguistic Project Management: Manage the Office Automation (OA) approval workflow, interpreting and translating internal technical requests and corporate authorizations between headquarters and the US facility.

Cross-Border Communication: Act as the primary technical liaison for overseas equipment manufacturers, troubleshooting shipment errors and technical discrepancies through written and verbal professional-level translation.

Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination

Asset Procurement & Analysis: Conduct quantitative analysis to estimate facility needs; manage the strategic procurement of industrial materials and specialized furniture essential for a 50+ employee manufacturing environment.

Inbound Logistics Management: Oversee the documentation and intake of complex manufacturing equipment and parts. Verify technical specifications against shipping manifests to ensure global supply chain integrity.

Vendor Ecosystem Management: Architect and document the workflows for non-production vendors (EHS, security, and industrial waste), ensuring all site-level operations meet regulatory and corporate standards.

Strategic Operational Support

Site-Launch Analytics: Track site-level capital expenditures (CAPEX) and operational expenses (OPEX), providing data-driven reports to the General Manager regarding budget utilization and procurement timelines.

EHS & Compliance Oversight: Support the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) department by translating safety protocols and ensuring the facility remains compliant with both local OSHA standards and corporate safety mandates.

Organizational Scaling: Coordinate the logistical "Welcome" infrastructure for rapid-scale hiring waves, ensuring all operational resources are synchronized with HR and Engineering milestones.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Communications, or a related technical field is required. Master's Degree preferred.

Language Proficiency: Full professional fluency (written and verbal) in both English and Mandarin is required to manage technical documentation and international vendor relations.

Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or technical coordination within an industrial or high-tech environment.

Systems Expertise: High proficiency in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, procurement software, and Microsoft 365/Google Workspace.
