- You have 8+ years of professional experience. Retail, military, warehousing, fulfillment or logistics experience is highly preferred.
- You have 4+ years of experience in people management. Exposure to managing both hourly & salaried teams is a plus!
- You're open to travel. This role will require 30%+ travel time.
- BA/BS degree required.

Which e-commerce companies in Ohio sponsor H-1B1 visas?
Several Ohio-based retailers and e-commerce operations have sponsored H-1B1 visas, including Abercrombie & Fitch, Express, and L Brands, all headquartered in the Columbus area. Large third-party logistics and fulfillment companies operating in the state have also filed H-1B1 petitions for technical roles. Sponsorship availability varies by company size, hiring cycle, and the specific role's classification as a specialty occupation.
Which cities in Ohio have the most e-commerce H-1B1 sponsorship jobs?
Columbus is the primary hub for e-commerce H-1B1 jobs in Ohio, driven by its concentration of retail headquarters and a growing tech sector. Cleveland and Cincinnati also have active hiring activity, particularly in software development and digital marketing roles tied to e-commerce platforms. Ohio State University's presence in Columbus further supports a strong pipeline of technical talent that many employers target.
What types of e-commerce roles typically qualify for H-1B1 sponsorship in Ohio?
Roles that commonly qualify require a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific technical or professional field. In Ohio's e-commerce sector, this includes software engineers, data analysts, UX designers, digital marketing analysts, and product managers. The position must meet the USCIS specialty occupation standard, meaning a degree in a directly related field is a normal minimum requirement for entry into that role.
How do I find e-commerce H-1B1 sponsorship jobs in Ohio?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship roles, including e-commerce H-1B1 jobs in Ohio. You can filter by state, visa type, and industry to surface positions from employers with a documented history of H-1B1 sponsorship. This saves time compared to manually researching company-by-company and helps you focus applications on employers already familiar with the H-1B1 process.
Are there any Ohio-specific considerations for H-1B1 sponsorship in e-commerce?
Ohio does not impose state-level visa requirements, but its e-commerce hiring is concentrated in a handful of metro areas, so targeting Columbus, Cleveland, or Cincinnati employers improves your chances significantly. Ohio's lower cost of operations compared to coastal markets can make it attractive for e-commerce companies to build technical teams here. H-1B1 eligibility is limited to Chilean and Singaporean nationals, which is a federal requirement regardless of state.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 e-commerce jobs in Ohio?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
