Position Summary
The PM Housekeeper at Congaree Golf Club is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of all club facilities during evening hours. This role ensures that all member and guest spaces are reset, refreshed, and prepared to the highest standards for the following day.
Typical hours from 1:30pm to 9:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all clubhouse areas including locker rooms, restrooms, dining areas, offices, and common spaces
- Perform nightly reset of public areas to ensure readiness for next-day operations
- Restock supplies such as linens, towels, toiletries, and cleaning products
- Maintain cleanliness of high-touch surfaces and ensure sanitation standards are upheld
- Remove trash and recycling and ensure proper disposal procedures
- Assist with event breakdown and post-event cleaning as needed
- Identify and report maintenance or repair needs promptly
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Secure buildings and areas as directed at end of shift
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred, ideally in hospitality or private club setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30–50 pounds
- Frequent use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Ability to perform repetitive motions such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping
Work Environment
- Indoor and outdoor work in a club setting
- Exposure to cleaning agents and varying temperatures
- Evening and late-night hours required
