INTRODUCTION
Morgan Stanley (“MS”) is a global financial services firm that conducts its business through three principal business segments—Institutional Securities, Wealth Management, and Asset Management. Wealth Management provides comprehensive financial advice and services to its clients including brokerage, investment advisory, financial and wealth planning, credit & lending, deposits & cash management, annuities, insurance, retirement and trust services.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Cash Management Specialist will build Advisor product awareness and understanding of the full cash management platform within their assigned Region/Market(s). The Cash Management Specialist will be assigned to a Region (or a subset of Markets within a Region), as applicable.
- Partner with Financial Advisors to provide clients with advice and guidance regarding our full suite of Cash Management Solutions.
- Build Cash Management product awareness and understanding among Financial Advisors (FAs), Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs), Support Professionals (SP), Private Bankers and Associate Private Bankers and well as local and regional field management.
- Partner with FAs/PWAs to profile their client base, identify and analyze business opportunities leading to increased revenue opportunity.
- Build, promote and maintain an adequate pipeline of opportunities to meet Cash Management business objectives, including, but not limited to client engagement, establishing new recurring deposit relationships, Savings and CD products deposit growth, Morgan Stanley American Express Credit Cards, and any other cash management products or solutions that may be developed for the benefit of and use by Morgan Stanley clients and employees.
- Establish a reputation of exceptional client focus and engagement. Build trust with FAs to collaborate in fully developing cash management opportunities with their clients.
- Act as the subject matter expert on inquiries related to Cash Management Solutions and client offerings.
- Understand the competitive environment and effectively communicate our cash management value proposition and comparative strengths vis-a-vis key competitive offers.
- Develop and implement product marketing strategies with Management to drive the cash deposit business to meet national and regional business objectives.
- Work with and communicate effectively with Field/Branch management, Financial Advisors, Branch Service staff and Product partners.
- Partner with FAs to incorporate cash management into client onboarding and client review processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 7+ years of successful banking sales / cash management sales / treasury management sales and business development experience within Wealth Management.
- Knowledge of cash management services products such as credit/debit cards, online bill pay, funds transfers, direct deposits, mobile banking and other treasury management solutions for both individuals as well as commercial.
- Experience in understanding the financial needs of clients.
- BA/BS required.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Strong understanding Cash Management suite of solutions and services including, but not limited to, bank deposits, certificates of deposits, credit cards, direct deposit, funds transfer, online bill pay, etc.
- Ability to collaborate/refer business.
- Excellent business development and marketing skills.
- Desire to consistently achieve top results.
- Ability to maintain poise, presence and professionalism in the most difficult circumstances.

COMPENSATION:
- Salary range for the position: $110,000 - $190,000 Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
