Which accounting companies sponsor TN visas in Indiana?
Large Indiana-headquartered employers like Eli Lilly, Cummins, and OneAmerica Financial have established international hiring practices and are more likely to have experience processing TN sponsorships for accounting roles. Regional public accounting firms operating in Indianapolis and Fort Wayne also hire accountants, though sponsorship availability varies by firm size and hiring volume. Confirming sponsorship willingness directly with employers during the application process is always necessary.
Which cities in Indiana have the most accounting TN sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis concentrates the largest share of accounting and finance roles in Indiana, driven by corporate headquarters, financial services firms, and professional services offices in the metro area. Carmel and Fishers, as Indianapolis suburbs with growing corporate campuses, also generate accounting demand. Fort Wayne and Bloomington have smaller but active accounting markets tied to manufacturing and university-affiliated organizations respectively.
What types of accounting roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
Under the TN visa category, accountants must hold a baccalaureate or licenciatura degree in accounting or a closely related field. Roles commonly associated with TN sponsorship include staff accountant, senior accountant, financial analyst, internal auditor, tax analyst, and management accountant. The job duties must align with the accounting profession as defined under TN guidelines. General bookkeeping or clerical finance roles typically do not qualify.
How do I find accounting TN sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate is specifically built for international job seekers and filters accounting positions in Indiana that offer TN visa sponsorship, saving you from manually screening hundreds of listings. You can search by visa type and industry to surface relevant roles at Indiana employers who have indicated sponsorship availability. Because TN sponsorship requires the employer to support the process, focusing your search on sponsorship-confirmed listings through Migrate Mate is a practical starting point.
Are there any Indiana-specific considerations for accounting TN sponsorship?
Indiana does not impose state-level licensing requirements that override federal TN eligibility, but roles requiring a Certified Public Accountant credential may expect you to pursue Indiana CPA licensure after starting. The Indiana Professional Licensing Agency handles CPA applications, and credential evaluation may be needed for degrees earned outside the U.S. or Canada. Employers in Indiana's manufacturing and life sciences sectors frequently seek accountants with industry-specific experience, which can strengthen your candidacy.
