Position Overview:
Hours: 4pm - 11pm, 3-4 days per week. Fri & Sat required
This position's primary role will be to wash and fold hotel linens to prepare for guest rooms. Additionally, you will assist the bartending staff with the preparation of food, during bar hours. We serve a light menu, featuring appetizers, sandwiches, salads, and flatbreads. You will be responsible for ensuring ingredients are stored and rotated effectively to optimize freshness and always ensure desired stock levels. You will collaborate with the kitchen team to manage customer satisfaction and retention. You must comply with production guidelines, following standardized recipes and overseeing product quality. No prior restaurant experience is needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens and terry.
- Remove stains using proper procedure and chemicals.
- Stocking and maintaining laundry closets are stocked with proper amount of linen.
- Work effectively with the kitchen team and complying with company procedures and food safety policies.
- Preparing workstation with required equipment and keeping station sanitary and organized throughout the shift.
- Prepping ingredients that are inline with recipes.
- Ensuring ingredients are tagged, date-labeled, covered, stored and rotated properly.
- Ensuring the facility remains clean.
- Adhering to all safety protocols.
- Follow proper food safety guidelines.
- Provide inventory needs to proper management.
