Floral Designer

Part Time Opportunity, ~20 hours/week

Job Duties:

• Produce original designs to fill customer orders and sympathy arrangements.
• Duplicate various arrangements of different styles.
• Assist customer on the phone as directed.
• Assist other departments such as: Permanent design, weddings/special events and planter production as directed.
• Working with technology, including tablets, to record activities and arrangement components.
• Other projects as directed by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1-2 years in floral design experience is preferred.
• Driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report required.
• Wedding work experience is preferred.
• Basic reading and math skills is required.
• The ability to duplicate and create arrangements and recipe at design level.
• This position requires standing the entire shift.
• Must work in a fast pace work environment.
• Ability to frequently lift 10 – 30lb, occasionally lift 50lb.

Schedule:

• Flexible availability Sunday-Saturday per business hours. Rotating schedule to accommodate every other Saturday and Sunday, potential for more during seasonal peaks.
• Hours will vary during season, more hours will be required during peak seasons.

Compensation: $20.00
