INTRODUCTION
At Peak Technologies, we bring virtual and live events to life. From global conferences to unforgettable brand activations, our team helps create moments that leave a lasting impression. We’re looking for a Warehouse Technician & Driver to join our Audio/Visual team — someone who takes pride in keeping things organized, moving, and ready for showtime.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll balance warehouse operations with safe and efficient driving. If you have a sharp eye for detail, enjoy working with AV equipment, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect fit.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What You’ll Do
In the Warehouse
- Keep our warehouse tour-ready by ensuring assets are stored, maintained, and organized.
- Operate a forklift daily to pull and prepare client assets.
- Assist with return inspections, AV orders, receiving, staging, and logistics.
- Restock and track client and rental equipment — making sure every piece is ready to ship.
- Monitor assets for damage or needed repairs and report issues promptly.
- Follow production schedules, working independently while staying aligned with the Operations team.
- Identify and work with different types of production cables (XLR, speakON, SDI, HDMI, DisplayPort, Fiber, DMX, Socapex, Edison, PowerCon, TRUE1, CAT, etc.).
- Support basic testing and QC of production gear such as monitors, projectors, LED tiles/walls, computers, converters, distribution amps, switchers, microphones, speakers, and mixers.
On the Road
- Transport AV equipment safely and on time.
- Load and unload cargo with care, following best practices.
- Drive with professionalism — clean record, safe habits, and respect for all regulations.
- Maintain the vehicle inside and out, handling basic upkeep (fuel, oil, safety checks).
- Complete required documentation such as logs, mileage, and cargo reports.
- Adapt quickly to traffic or rerouting to keep deliveries on schedule.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s degree or equivalent training/experience (6–12 months in warehouse, production, or AV preferred).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Comfortable with forklifts, warehouse operations, and hands-on work.
- Familiarity with AV cables and gear; able to identify basic production cables and equipment.
- Experience with equipment testing, troubleshooting, or QC is a plus.
- Flexible, solution-oriented, and team-focused.
- Strong attention to detail — you know that every piece of equipment matters.

Which consulting companies sponsor F-1 CPT visas in Nevada?
Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, and EY all maintain offices in Las Vegas and occasionally bring on F-1 CPT students for consulting rotations. Regional firms supporting Nevada's gaming and hospitality industries, such as local management consulting and IT advisory companies, also participate in CPT programs. Sponsorship availability depends on whether the firm has an active university partnership or internship program aligned with your school's CPT requirements.
Which cities in Nevada have the most consulting F-1 CPT sponsorship jobs?
Las Vegas accounts for the large majority of consulting CPT opportunities in Nevada, driven by demand for management, IT, and operations consulting tied to the gaming and hospitality industries. Reno is a secondary market, with some activity in technology and supply chain consulting linked to the warehousing and logistics sector. Outside these two cities, consulting CPT openings are limited.
What types of consulting roles typically qualify for F-1 CPT sponsorship?
Roles in management consulting, IT consulting, financial advisory, operations analysis, and data analytics are the most common CPT-eligible consulting positions in Nevada. The role must be directly related to your degree program and must be approved by your Designated School Official before work begins. Project-based internships at consulting firms tend to align well with DSO approval criteria because they have defined scopes and learning objectives.
How do I find consulting F-1 CPT sponsorship jobs in Nevada?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international students and filters consulting jobs by visa type, including F-1 CPT, and by state, so you can browse Nevada-specific openings without sorting through roles that don't accommodate your status. Beyond the platform, connecting with your university's career center is important because CPT authorization requires institutional approval before any offer is accepted, and some employers coordinate directly with specific schools.
Are there any Nevada-specific considerations for F-1 CPT consulting sponsorship?
Nevada has no state income tax, which affects your net compensation but has no bearing on CPT eligibility or visa compliance. More relevant is that many Nevada consulting roles are tied to the gaming industry, which requires background checks. Some firms may factor in the additional administrative steps of working with an F-1 student, so targeting employers with established internship programs or prior CPT experience generally leads to smoother authorization processes.
