Which transportation companies in Wisconsin sponsor TN visas?
Wisconsin employers with active transportation hiring that have supported TN sponsorship include Schneider National (headquartered in Green Bay), Oshkosh Corporation, and Werner Enterprises operations in the state. Large logistics and manufacturing firms are generally more experienced with TN sponsorship than smaller carriers, as they have in-house HR or legal teams familiar with the process.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most transportation TN sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee and Green Bay see the highest concentration of transportation TN-eligible roles in Wisconsin. Milwaukee benefits from its port activity on Lake Michigan and its position as a major freight hub, while Green Bay is home to Schneider National and a dense cluster of logistics employers. Madison also has opportunities tied to state government contracting and regional supply chain operations.
What types of transportation roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship in Wisconsin?
TN sponsorship in transportation is limited to qualifying professional categories under USMCA. Roles that commonly fit include industrial engineers working in logistics or freight operations, civil engineers involved in transportation infrastructure, scientific technologists supporting fleet or systems management, and management consultants engaged in supply chain projects. Roles requiring a qualifying bachelor's degree in a directly related field are most likely to meet the specialty occupation standard.
How do I find transportation TN sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate is a job board built specifically for TN visa holders and other work visa categories, making it straightforward to filter for transportation roles in Wisconsin with confirmed sponsorship. Rather than sorting through general job listings where sponsorship status is unclear, Migrate Mate surfaces employers already open to TN candidates, saving significant time for Canadian and Mexican professionals targeting Wisconsin's freight and logistics sector.
Are there any Wisconsin-specific or industry-specific considerations for TN transportation sponsorship?
Wisconsin's heavy reliance on manufacturing and freight means many transportation roles are operationally focused, but TN sponsorship requires a professional-level position tied to a qualifying USMCA category. Employers along the I-94 corridor and in the Fox Valley industrial region regularly hire for logistics and engineering roles that can support TN status. Canadian citizens can present their TN documentation at the border, while Mexican nationals must apply at a U.S. consulate in Mexico.
