Align your licensure to Lyra's state footprint
Lyra operates across multiple states through employer benefit contracts, so licensure portability matters. Confirm which states your psychology license covers and whether you've completed the EPPP before applying, since gaps here can stall an offer and complicate visa timing.
Frame your clinical niche around employer behavioral health
Lyra's neuropsychologist roles often focus on assessment within a digital, employer-sponsored benefits model. Emphasize experience with cognitive assessment, return-to-work evaluations, or workplace mental health rather than traditional hospital or forensic neuropsychology contexts.
Confirm TN eligibility before targeting this role
If you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship, the TN visa category covers psychologists under USMCA. Lyra sponsors TN status, and the process doesn't require USCIS petition approval, so your timeline from offer to start can be significantly shorter than H-1B routes.
Use Migrate Mate to identify active Neuropsychologist openings at Lyra Health
Lyra posts neuropsychologist roles across multiple specializations and locations. Migrate Mate filters specifically for visa-sponsoring employers, so you can spot which openings at Lyra are actively recruiting international candidates rather than manually parsing dozens of job listings.
Request OPT cap-gap documentation before your OPT expires
If Lyra extends you an offer while you're on F-1 OPT, confirm whether your program qualifies for the 24-month STEM extension. A timely I-983 training plan and employer verification through E-Verify are required to maintain lawful status through any H-1B transition.
Clarify the PERM timeline if EB-2 or EB-3 is part of your path
Lyra sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 green cards for this role, but PERM labor certification through DOL typically takes 12 to 18 months before an I-140 petition can be filed. Raise this in the offer stage so the process starts before your nonimmigrant status renewal becomes urgent.

Find Neuropsychologist at Lyra Health JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Lyra Health sponsor H-1B visas for Neuropsychologists?
Lyra Health's documented sponsorship activity for Neuropsychologist roles centers on EB-2, EB-3, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas rather than H-1B. If you're currently on H-1B status from another employer, you can transfer to Lyra under portability rules once your I-140 is approved, but candidates should verify H-1B cap-exempt eligibility or prior lottery selection with Lyra's HR team directly.
Which visa types are commonly used for Neuropsychologist roles at Lyra Health?
Lyra Health sponsors TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals, F-1 OPT and CPT for students completing psychology training programs, and EB-2 or EB-3 immigrant visas for candidates pursuing permanent residence. TN is often the fastest path for eligible candidates because it doesn't require USCIS petition approval and can be processed at the port of entry.
How do I apply for Neuropsychologist jobs at Lyra Health?
Applications go through Lyra Health's careers portal, where roles are listed by specialty and location. Migrate Mate also aggregates Lyra's active neuropsychologist openings and filters them by visa sponsorship type, which makes it easier to identify positions aligned with your immigration status. Tailor your application to Lyra's employer-sponsored behavioral health model, emphasizing digital care delivery experience and multi-state licensure where applicable.
What qualifications does Lyra Health expect for Neuropsychologist candidates?
Lyra typically requires a doctoral degree in neuropsychology or clinical psychology, completion of a postdoctoral fellowship, and an active license in the state where you'll practice. Board certification through ABCN or ABPP is often preferred. For international candidates, foreign credential evaluations may be requested, and your degree must be recognized as equivalent to a U.S. doctoral program by state licensing boards.
How do I navigate the visa filing timeline when accepting an offer from Lyra Health?
Timeline depends heavily on which visa category applies to your situation. TN status can be activated at the border with an offer letter and supporting documents, often within days of your offer. EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship involves PERM labor certification through DOL, which can take 12 to 18 months, followed by an I-140 petition with USCIS. Clarify which pathway Lyra intends to sponsor during the offer negotiation stage so start date expectations are realistic.
