Siemens Energy is seeking a motivated individual for the role of Assistant District Service Manager to support Distributed fleet in North America. This position involves managing resource coordination for various work scopes, including customer and Field Service interface for equipment installation, testing, operation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and modification. The role supports the District Service Manager and interfaces with internal and external customers to resolve complex problems. Additionally, the individual will maintain customer relationships and support the platform team. Reporting directly to the District Service Manager, this key role ensures smooth operation and effective problem-solving.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support customer interface within the district. Manage non-conformance costs and identify technical and commercial risks and opportunities. Supports the performance of on-site technical and operational support in the design, development, installation and maintenance of equipment and systems of a complex nature.
- Supports district’s financial Profit & Loss and required reporting. Works with internal and external customers to develop complex maintenance plans.
- Completes the planning and estimating to develop complex proposals. Performs the review of complex task plans, drawings, and installation schematics and provides continual guidance throughout task duration.
- Lead the collaboration of the platform team including LTP, Sales, Warranty, and parts to provide “best-in-class” customer service. Manage the district engineers and support staffs ranging in size from 5 to 15 persons.
- Facilitate District employee development training plans. Collaborate with other departments to continuously improve Siemens Energy products and service.
- Communicate key technical, commercial and customer issues upward to District Management.
What You Bring (requirements)
- BS/BA in a business-related field or engineering required plus a minimum 5+ years of experience in generation service
- Must have experience in general maintenance of large and small gas turbines, generators and associated equipment.
- Experience working with union & non-union labor is required.
- Experience with Primavera and/or Microsoft Project scheduling software, SAP, and Excel is a must. Must have experience developing and managing Financial Budgets. Required to travel up to 25%
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

For positions based in the United States, the base salary range is $104,000 to $160,000 annually, and the annual incentive target is from 0 % to 10% of the base salary. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
