JOB SUMMARY: Respond to on-call situations during weather incidences which require snow removal by vehicle and large equipment. Responsible for the installation of enhancement projects.
Temporary Assignment/ Seasonal Position: Assignment duration may last through April 2026.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
- 1-3 years snow removal experience
License or Certification
- Valid driver’s license issued by the state where employed is strongly preferred
- Commercial driver’s license (for operation of vehicles over 26,000 lbs)
- Insurable driving record
Specialized Skills
- Knowledge of snow removal equipment and safe operation standards, including but not limited to large loading equipment, trucks, and ATVs
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out tasks
- Deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
- Ability to communicate in English preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and manager
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
- Strong commitment to high quality of work and customer service
- Ability to complete tasks assigned in a timely manner

- Constantly required to drive a vehicle independently, during all times of day and night, and in inclement weather conditions

- Frequent use of hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
- Frequently required to twist, climb and balance on surfaces that may be elevated, narrow and/or slippery
- Occasionally required to reach, bend, and crouch
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

- Constant evaluation and adjustment of priorities
- Frequently works with mechanical objects and outside in extreme weather conditions
- Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals
- Occasionally exposed to loud noise levels
Essential Duties
- Safely operate vehicles and large equipment to remove snow from client sites or city streets, including but not limited to ATVs, trucks, tandem axle trucks, and Skidsteers
- Shows up to work each day on time; completes all tasks within time expectations; adheres to company dress code policy; wears clean clothes to work each day; follows inclement weather policy and sick leave reporting procedures
- Promote and maintain safe working conditions
- Other duties as assigned
