Job Roles at Susquehanna International Group
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Susquehanna International Group Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target quantitative and technology roles
SIG's Green Card sponsorships concentrate in quantitative research, software engineering, and trading infrastructure. Focusing your application on these technical disciplines puts you in the strongest position for a firm that values deep domain expertise in Investment and Asset Management.
Establish yourself on a nonimmigrant visa first
SIG typically initiates Green Card processes for employees already working on H-1B or similar status. Securing a role under an existing work visa and demonstrating strong performance is the most reliable path to a sponsored Green Card petition.
Understand the PERM labor certification timeline
Green Card sponsorship at firms like SIG usually begins with PERM labor certification, a Department of Labor process that can take a year or more before USCIS filing even starts. Planning around this timeline prevents surprises in your immigration journey.
Ask directly during the offer stage
SIG's recruiting and HR teams are experienced with sponsorship conversations. Asking about Green Card policy during the offer negotiation, rather than after joining, sets clear expectations and confirms the role qualifies under the company's sponsorship criteria.
Search verified sponsorship listings before applying
Finding confirmed sponsors in Investment and Asset Management saves significant time. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you prioritize SIG and similar firms where Green Card support is documented.
Build tenure before expecting Green Card initiation
SIG, like most quantitative finance firms, typically initiates Green Card proceedings after an employee has demonstrated sustained performance. Treating your first year as a runway to prove impact makes a meaningful difference when sponsorship discussions begin.

Does Susquehanna International Group sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Susquehanna International Group sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees in the United States. SIG has an active sponsorship program that spans its quantitative research, technology, and trading divisions, and the firm is considered a meaningful Green Card sponsor within the Investment and Asset Management sector.
Which roles and departments at Susquehanna International Group typically receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at SIG concentrates in technically specialized roles: quantitative researchers, software engineers, trading system developers, and data scientists. These are the positions where SIG most consistently invests in long-term U.S. work authorization. General operations and administrative roles are less likely to receive sponsorship support.
How does the Green Card application process work at Susquehanna International Group?
SIG typically manages Green Card cases through employment-based categories such as EB-2 or EB-3, beginning with PERM labor certification filed with the Department of Labor. Once PERM is approved, SIG files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. The firm's legal team generally coordinates the process, though employees should stay engaged at each stage.
How long does the Green Card process take at Susquehanna International Group?
The full process, from PERM filing through Green Card approval, commonly takes several years. PERM labor certification alone can take 12 to 18 months, and applicants born in high-demand countries such as India or China may face extended priority date backlogs at USCIS. SIG's immigration counsel can provide case-specific estimates.
How do I find open Green Card jobs at Susquehanna International Group?
The most effective approach is to search for SIG roles on a platform that filters by verified sponsorship history. Migrate Mate lets you search confirmed Green Card sponsors in Investment and Asset Management, so you can focus on SIG openings where sponsorship is documented rather than assumed. Applying through SIG's careers page directly is also recommended once you identify a target role.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Susquehanna International Group?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
