Frame your credentials around financial sector compliance
TD Securities operates under strict regulatory frameworks including OCC, FINRA, and SEC oversight. Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CRISC signal direct relevance to their security program scope and strengthen your petition's specialty occupation argument.
Target roles tied to capital markets infrastructure
Security Program Manager openings at TD Securities often sit within trading technology, third-party risk, or regulatory compliance divisions. Filtering your search by these business units surfaces the roles most likely to carry active sponsorship approval from the hiring team.
Search active TD Securities openings through Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to browse verified Security Program Manager listings at TD Securities filtered by visa sponsorship type. This narrows your applications to roles where H-1B or E-3 sponsorship is already confirmed, saving you from applying to positions without budget approval.
Clarify sponsorship timing before accepting an offer
TD Securities sponsors both H-1B and E-3 visas, but internal approval timelines differ by division. Ask HR during the offer stage whether your specific team has filed recently, so you can align your start date with the H-1B cap cycle or E-3 consular processing window.
Confirm your LCA reflects the correct wage tier
DOL requires TD Securities to file a Labor Condition Application certifying prevailing wage compliance before your visa petition is submitted. Ask your recruiter which wage level your role is classified at, since security program management roles in investment banking frequently qualify at Level III or IV.
Prepare documentation showing program ownership not just participation
USCIS scrutinizes whether Security Program Manager roles constitute a true specialty occupation. Your resume and support letter should emphasize program design, governance frameworks you built, and cross-functional oversight, not execution tasks that a generalist could perform.
Security Program Manager at TD Securities jobs are hiring across the US. Find yours.
Find Security Program Manager at TD Securities JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does TD Securities sponsor H-1B visas for Security Program Managers?
Yes, TD Securities sponsors H-1B visas for Security Program Managers. The firm has a documented pattern of filing H-1B petitions across its technology, risk, and compliance functions, which includes security program management. Because H-1B sponsorship is subject to the annual cap and lottery, your start date needs to align with the USCIS filing window, typically opening in April for an October 1 start.
How do I apply for Security Program Manager jobs at TD Securities?
Apply directly through TD Securities' careers portal, targeting roles in information security, technology risk, or enterprise security programs. Tailor your application to highlight regulatory compliance experience relevant to capital markets. You can also use Migrate Mate to browse current Security Program Manager openings at TD Securities filtered by visa sponsorship type, so you're only pursuing roles where sponsorship is confirmed.
Which visa types does TD Securities commonly use for Security Program Managers?
TD Securities sponsors H-1B visas for most international hires in this function. Australian citizens are also eligible for the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and processes through consular appointments, making it faster to activate than the H-1B cap cycle. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, TD Securities has also supported EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for security and technology roles.
What qualifications does TD Securities expect for Security Program Manager roles?
Candidates typically need a bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or a related field, along with several years of program or project management experience in a regulated financial environment. Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or PMP carry significant weight. Experience with third-party risk management, regulatory audit response, or security governance frameworks specific to financial institutions is often what separates shortlisted candidates.
How do I navigate the sponsorship timeline as a Security Program Manager candidate at TD Securities?
Once you receive an offer, TD Securities initiates the Labor Condition Application with the DOL before filing your visa petition with USCIS. For H-1B, build in time for the April lottery registration and the October 1 cap start date. E-3 applicants can move faster since there's no cap or lottery. Premium processing is available for H-1B petitions if your start date is time-sensitive, reducing USCIS adjudication to roughly 15 business days.
