DESCRIPTION
ASU FIDM invites applications for Summer Session Instructors to teach Summer Camps in Fashion at our locations in Downtown Phoenix and the ASU California Center in Los Angeles.
These positions are one-week appointments, part time, non-benefits eligible with no tenure implications. A typical Summer Camp Instructor course load is one to two camps.
Essential duties include: preparing course materials, guiding student work, facilitating workshops, responding to and evaluating student work, one-on-one assistance, and ensuring classroom safety.
The number of courses is contingent upon needs, funding, and sufficient enrollment. Individuals hired as Summer Camp Instructors may not hold multiple, non-benefits-eligible appointments at Arizona State University. Salary is $300 per day (5 days).
Anticipated start date is: June 15, 2026.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s degree in a relevant field and 4 years of industry experience or a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 2 years of industry experience.
- Demonstrated evidence of commitment to teaching excellence.
Desired qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in relevant field.
- Record of scholarly publication and/or evidence of professional development in relevant field.
- Minimum of two years of post-secondary teaching experience.
