INTRODUCTION

For this U.S. based position, the expected base salary is $141,731 – $148,818 per year. Additional short-term incentive compensation is a typical part of our compensation structure and would be in addition to the above-stated range.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Schneider Electric Smart Grid Solutions, LLC seeks a Solution Architect in Fort Collins, CO.

Ensure that projects utilizing the Schneider Electric suite of software and solutions are designed, developed, and deployed in an efficient and consistent manner minimizing cost and risk. Work with Project Teams to define the best technical approach to meet customer business requirements using one or more Schneider offerings. Facilitate and define the technology strategy for projects with Product and Architecture teams to ensure alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives. Lead technical architecture, integrations, business requirements gathering and data modeling workshops and develop resulting documentation. Lead the design and documentation of proposed customer solutions based on defined requirements, including data model schema definition, functional requirements, and integrations. Work directly with other groups within the delivery organization to develop and validate proposed solutions and designs. Lead solution design review sessions and obtain design approval from customers. Provide technical guidance to other members of the project team and delivery organization. Prepare project analysis, design, functional and interface specification documentation. Perform system, database, application, and network capacity planning for clients. Support the development and maintenance of group expertise of the utility business, workflows, and applicable technologies. Eligible for 100% remote work, reporting to manager worksite in Fort Collins, CO. Position requires 25% domestic travel to customer sites to conduct design workshops and review system environments.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience in software systems development in the utility industry, or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills:

• GIS (Esri) development in the electric, gas, water, or telecom/fiber domains
• Designing and implementing Enterprise Software Solutions and Server-Side Services
• Software and System Development, System Integration, Documentation, Testing, Installation, Commissioning and Service Processes
• Architectural domains: Enterprise Systems, Data Design and Architecture, Integration Architecture, Solution Design, or Business Architecture
• Spatial and Non-Spatial database design
• Architecting and designing infrastructure and operational support processes
