Veterinary Client Service Representative

Animal Urgent Care in West Arvada is an emergency hospital proudly serving our community from a modern, state-of-the-art facility. About the Role:

In this role you will be the face of AUC ARVADA for clients as they are checking in for appointments, waiting in the lobby and discharging, and a crucial member of our hospital team.

Compensation: $20 - $22/hr depending on experience

Anticipated Schedule: Full Time
+ Shift Options (2 currently available):
- Daytime/Swing Shifts Needed
- 4 x 10 hour shifts
- 3 x 12 hour shifts
* One weekend shift required

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Provide high quality customer service that meets or exceeds the expectations of our clients
- Facilitate admission of patients
- Support the doctors and support staff as needed
- Assist with euthanasia paperwork and provide compassionate service to owners suffering from loss and grief
- Collect deposits for appointments and procedures
- Communicate patient progress/owner updates to clients in the lobby
- Answer questions clients may have while in the lobby
- Sign in visitors and vendors
- Look for ways to continually improve the delivery of services to our clients to ensure that clients are treated with respect and compassion
- Daily cleaning of front desk/lobby area – wipe down surfaces, sweep lobby, etc.

Qualifications

- At least 2 years of customer service experience in the veterinary field.
- Familiarity with payment collection processes.
- Experience managing multi-line phone systems.
- Proven ability to maintain high accuracy in data entry.
- Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus!
