INTRODUCTION

Seattle Children’s is excited to announce a great opportunity for a Pediatric Cardiologist to join our Montana-based practice. Our team (providers, RNs, sonographers, and administrative staff) live and worked in the state, providing high-quality care and positive patient experiences for all Montanans. The two-provider practice is based in Great Falls with outreach travel to Helena and Havre. Our providers are part of the Heart Center’s multidisciplinary team of clinicians with around-the-clock access to Children’s specialties from prenatal consultation to cardiac care for young adults. This regional cardiology position in Montana is a very unique opportunity to have the independence and community impact of a community pediatric cardiologist while also benefiting from the support and resources of a large academic center in Seattle Children’s Hospital. This is a highly variable practice with opportunities for community outreach, fetal cardiology, and further practice development and growth. Provide physician specialty services according to individual employment contract (as applicable). Ensure coordination of care with patients and attending physicians, and collaboration with nursing, pediatric and other medical and surgical subspecialty services, community physicians and ancillary health team providers. Ensure the quality of all patient care and service, and integration of these services with Seattle Children's goals, vision and philosophy.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide physician specialty services according to individual employment contract (as applicable)
- Ensure coordination of care with patients and attending physicians
- Collaborate with nursing, pediatric and other medical and surgical subspecialty services, community physicians and ancillary health team providers
- Ensure the quality of all patient care and service
- Integrate these services with Seattle Children's goals, vision and philosophy

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- MD Degree
- Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges at Seattle Children’s and other sites as applicable

REQUIRED CREDENTIALS

- Licensed as a Physician in the State of Montana
- Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics by the American Academy of Pediatrics and/or specialty as applicable
- Federal DEA Registration
- Prior to start of employment, must obtain, and maintain in good standing, medical or allied health professional staff privileges that are not limited, revoked, suspended, conditioned, or probationary, except for normal probationary periods due to initial appointment
- All medical and allied health professional staff members are provisional for the first year
- Any and all medical or allied health professional staff privileges at Children's will terminate automatically upon the termination of the individual's employment at Children's
- Termination of employment does not prohibit the individual from seeking medical or allied health professional staff privileges at Children’s as a non-employee in any category for which the individual qualifies
- Questions regarding medical or allied health professional staff privileges may be directed to Medical Staff Services

COMPENSATION

- Salary Range: $346,035-$382,299 per year

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
