Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to production supervisors and teams across the production departments
- Oversee day-to-day production operations across multiple shifts
- Ensure all production lines are adequately staffed and operating safely and efficiently
- Manage production planning and scheduling to meet customer demand and shipping deadlines
- Monitor manufacturing performance using KPIs and production metrics
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and operational performance
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
- Ensure products meet internal engineering specifications and quality standards
- Identify operational challenges and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to support production needs
- Enforce company policies and safety protocols in a fair and consistent manner
- Maintain accurate production reporting and documentation
- Promote a clean, organized, and safe production environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment required
- Experience managing teams in a multi-shift manufacturing environment required
- Experience working with production systems, MRP systems, or manufacturing data required
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certifications or additional education in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial operations
- Experience in cable, extrusion, plastics, fiber, or similar manufacturing environments
- Experience analyzing production metrics and implementing operational improvements
