DIESEL MECHANIC
MBI is currently looking for Diesel Mechanics to add to our team. Daily duties consist of diagnosing and repairing our fleet of class A trucks and trailers. Most work is performed in our shop, however there will be times when roadside repairs are required.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year experience or Tech School Training in the following areas:
- Preventative Maintenance
- Engine and Aftertreatment
- Steering
- Suspension
- Driveline
- Hydraulics
- Air Brakes
- Lighting and advanced electronic systems
- HVAC
- Wheel ends
- Tire repair and replacement
- Minor fabrication of aluminum and steel
- Use of diagnostic programs like Cummins Insite, Davie, ESA, Service Ranger, Meritor Toolbox, Bendix Acom
Candidate must have their own tools and a driver’s license. CDL preferred but not required.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with diesel engine maintenance
- Own Tools
