Job Roles at Cashman Nursery Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Cashman Nursery Visa Sponsorship USA
Target seasonal hiring windows
Cashman Nursery's H-2B sponsorship is tied to seasonal agricultural demand. Apply well before peak planting or harvest periods, nursery employers typically begin the sponsorship process months in advance to meet Department of Labor certification deadlines.
Understand H-2B eligibility before applying
Cashman Nursery sponsors the H-2B visa, which requires your home country to be on the U.S. approved countries list. Confirm your nationality qualifies before investing time in an application, eligibility varies and the list changes periodically.
Highlight hands-on agricultural experience
H-2B roles at nursery operations like Cashman are practical and physically demanding. Emphasize relevant experience with plant care, greenhouse operations, landscaping, or general farm labor, employers in this space prioritize demonstrated hands-on skills over formal credentials.
Know that H-2B is employer-specific
Your H-2B visa ties you to Cashman Nursery as your petitioning employer. You cannot switch employers mid-status without a new petition. Going in with that clarity helps you evaluate the role and work location before committing to the application process.
Look for open roles through verified sponsor filters
Not all job listings show whether sponsorship is available. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, making it easier to find Cashman Nursery roles and similar agricultural employers actively hiring visa-sponsored workers.
Prepare for a consular interview abroad
H-2B applicants typically go through consular processing in their home country rather than adjusting status inside the U.S. Research your nearest U.S. consulate's appointment availability early, as agricultural hiring seasons create demand spikes that affect wait times.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Cashman Nursery sponsor H-1B visas?
No, Cashman Nursery does not have a track record of H-1B visa sponsorship. As an agricultural and farming operation, the roles it hires for are seasonal and manual in nature, which aligns with the H-2B temporary nonimmigrant worker program rather than the H-1B, which is reserved for specialty occupation positions requiring at least a bachelor's degree.
What visa types does Cashman Nursery sponsor?
Cashman Nursery sponsors the H-2B visa, a nonimmigrant classification for temporary non-agricultural seasonal workers. In practice, nursery and horticultural operations frequently use H-2B to fill roles in plant cultivation, greenhouse maintenance, and grounds work. Applicants must be nationals of a country on the U.S. government's H-2B eligible countries list to qualify.
What types of roles does Cashman Nursery typically sponsor?
Sponsored positions at Cashman Nursery are concentrated in seasonal agricultural and nursery labor, roles involving plant care, greenhouse operations, landscaping support, and general farm work. These are hands-on positions, not office or management roles. If you have a background in horticulture, grounds maintenance, or general agricultural labor, you're likely in the target profile for their sponsored openings.
How do I find open sponsored jobs at Cashman Nursery?
The most reliable way to find current openings is through Migrate Mate, which tracks verified sponsorship history and filters jobs by visa type. This lets you confirm that Cashman Nursery is actively hiring before applying, and compare it against other H-2B agricultural employers in the same region. Timing matters, search during pre-season windows when nurseries are actively petitioning.
How do I apply for a sponsored position at Cashman Nursery?
Start by identifying an open role during Cashman Nursery's seasonal hiring period. If selected, the employer initiates the H-2B petition process, including filing for a temporary labor certification with the Department of Labor before submitting a petition to USCIS. Once approved, you'll complete consular processing at a U.S. embassy or consulate in your home country. The entire process typically spans several months, so early preparation is essential.
