THE CADDIE PROGRAM
One of the most important values of Lexington Country Club is the establishment of an exceptional caddie program. The caddie program at LCC is run by the caddie master and head golf professional. The caddie master is responsible for the recruitment, training, and evaluation of all caddies. The membership evaluates the caddies after each round and their progress is closely tracked by the caddie master.
TRAINING
All new caddies are introduced to the golf course in a series of training sessions conducted by the caddie master. These sessions take place in groups and cover the necessities of caddying.
Etiquette / Attitude / Work Ethic / Skill
Upon completion of training, the new caddies will complete a shadow round with an Honor Caddie. It is here where the intricate details of their training are developed and shown in a real-world setting. The new caddies learn by observing an experienced caddie, while the member can still enjoy his or her round of golf.
CADDIE SKILLS
There are many things that separate caddies from each other; age, experience, and work ethic just to name a few. The relative skill set is no different. The task of rating caddies can be a challenging one. Yet for the sake of the entire caddie program, it is very important to do. We ask the membership to base their rating at the end of the round on the following skill sets and to be fair with their rating.
B Caddie
- Keep pace with the golfer
- Keep clubs and golf ball clean
- Replace divots and rake bunkers
- Position self properly and remain quiet
- Handle player’s bag without issue
- Handle the flagstick appropriately
A Caddie (in addition to B Caddie skills)

- Know yardages from permanent markers
- Good knowledge of golf course
AA Caddie (in addition to A Caddie skills)

- Ability to carry two golf bags
Honor Caddie (in addition to AA Caddie skills)

- Handle two bags easily
- Leadership abilities
- Offer advice when requested

- Plays and enjoys the game of golf
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL:

- Maintain a CLEAN appearance
- Be FRIENDLY and OUTGOING
- Be able to lift 30-40 lbs
- Be TEAM ORIENTED and ORGANIZED
- Be willing to learn and adapt to our Club's Culture

How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Lexington Country Club Visa Sponsorship USA
Target Roles That Fit the H-2B Program
Lexington Country Club sponsors through the H-2B visa, which covers temporary nonagricultural workers. Focus your application on seasonal hospitality, groundskeeping, food service, or recreation support roles, the positions most commonly covered under this program.
Time Your Application Around Seasonal Hiring Windows
Country clubs follow predictable seasonal staffing cycles, typically ramping up for spring and summer. Submit your interest well before peak season begins, H-2B petitions require lead time, and employers usually initiate the process months ahead of the start date.
Understand the H-2B Process Before You Apply
H-2B sponsorship involves employer-driven DOL certification before USCIS filing. Knowing this upfront helps you ask informed questions and set realistic timeline expectations, sponsorship takes several months from initiation to approved status.
Emphasize Hospitality or Recreation Experience in Your Application
Lexington Country Club operates in Sports & Recreation, so relevant hands-on experience in club operations, turf management, food and beverage service, or guest relations will strengthen your candidacy for roles that typically receive H-2B sponsorship.
Search for Verified Sponsoring Employers Before You Apply
Not every country club actively sponsors visas. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your job search on employers like Lexington Country Club with a confirmed track record.
Be Ready for a Defined Employment Period
H-2B visas are tied to a specific temporary employment period set by the employer's petition. Confirm the expected start and end dates early in the process, your visa authorization will align with the employer's approved seasonal window, not an open-ended arrangement.

Does Lexington Country Club sponsor H-1B visas?
No. Lexington Country Club's sponsorship activity is focused on the H-2B visa program, which covers temporary seasonal workers in nonagricultural roles. H-2B is the appropriate fit for a Sports & Recreation employer with seasonal staffing needs. If you require H-1B sponsorship, this employer is unlikely to be the right match for your visa situation.
What visa types does Lexington Country Club sponsor?
Lexington Country Club sponsors the H-2B visa, a temporary work visa for nonagricultural seasonal roles. This is common among country clubs and recreation facilities that staff up for spring and summer operations. The club does not have a track record of sponsoring H-1B, Green Card, or E-3 visas based on available filing data.
Which roles at Lexington Country Club are most likely to receive H-2B sponsorship?
H-2B sponsorship at country clubs typically covers roles in groundskeeping and turf management, food and beverage service, housekeeping, and general recreation support. These positions align with the seasonal demand pattern that qualifies an employer to petition for H-2B workers. Roles requiring year-round or highly specialized work are less likely to be sponsored under this program.
What is the application timeline for a sponsored role at Lexington Country Club?
The H-2B process is employer-driven and takes several months from start to finish. The employer must first obtain DOL certification, then file with USCIS, before a visa can be issued. If you're targeting a summer season start, the process typically begins in late fall or early winter. Reach out to the club well in advance of your intended start date.
How do I find open sponsored positions at Lexington Country Club?
The most reliable way is to use Migrate Mate, which tracks verified visa-sponsoring employers and surfaces open roles filtered by sponsorship history. Because H-2B roles are seasonal and filled quickly, checking regularly and setting up alerts for Sports & Recreation employers in the club's region will give you the best chance of catching openings early.
