Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does ORIC Pharmaceuticals sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, ORIC Pharmaceuticals sponsors H-1B visas. The company has a track record of sponsoring international talent in specialized scientific and technical roles. Given ORIC's focus on oncology drug development, sponsorship tends to be concentrated in positions requiring advanced expertise in life sciences, where qualified candidates with specific skills are genuinely difficult to source domestically.
Which roles at ORIC Pharmaceuticals are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at ORIC Pharmaceuticals is most common in roles tied directly to its core research and development mission, positions in drug discovery, translational medicine, clinical operations, biostatistics, and computational biology. Scientific and technical roles with clear degree requirements are best suited to H-1B sponsorship, while more generalist business functions are less reliably sponsored.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at ORIC Pharmaceuticals?
The most efficient approach is to use Migrate Mate, which surfaces visa-sponsoring employers and lets you filter by company and visa type. Because ORIC Pharmaceuticals is a smaller clinical-stage biotech, job openings can be infrequent and competitive. Setting up alerts and checking regularly gives you the best chance of catching new postings when they go live.
How do I approach the application process at ORIC Pharmaceuticals as an international candidate?
Be transparent about your visa status early. Clinical-stage biotechs like ORIC make deliberate hiring decisions, and recruiters need to factor sponsorship costs and timelines into their planning. Lead with your scientific expertise and domain fit, then address your sponsorship needs clearly. Delaying this conversation can create complications late in the process.
What is the typical H-1B sponsorship timeline I should expect with ORIC Pharmaceuticals?
If you're subject to the H-1B cap, the process runs on USCIS's annual cycle. Registrations open in March, the lottery occurs shortly after, and approved petitions are filed with an October 1 start date. For cap-exempt situations, such as transfers from another H-1B employer, timelines are more flexible. Discuss your situation with ORIC's HR team early so both sides can align on timing.
