Align your credentials with energy infrastructure standards
Quanta's Infrastructure Engineer roles typically require experience with power systems, transmission networks, or utility construction. Frame your resume around project-specific outcomes in those areas, not generic civil or systems engineering language, before you apply.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open positions by sponsorship type
Quanta posts a high volume of Infrastructure Engineer openings, so narrowing by visa category saves you from applying to roles the hiring team can't support. Migrate Mate lets you filter directly by sponsorship type for Quanta's listings.
Prepare your credential evaluation before interviews begin
If your engineering degree is from outside the U.S., get a NACES-member evaluation completed in advance. Quanta's hiring process for Infrastructure Engineers moves quickly once you're in consideration, and a missing evaluation can delay or derail an offer.
Confirm LCA wage levels before negotiating your offer
For H-1B hires, Quanta must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL certifying your wage meets the prevailing level for your work location. Check the DOL's wage database for Infrastructure Engineer roles in the specific state where the project is based.
Build your OPT timeline around Quanta's project start dates
Quanta's energy projects run on fixed construction and deployment schedules. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your authorization end date lines up with the project's expected start. A gap between your OPT expiration and your H-1B cap-gap period can interrupt work authorization.

Find Infrastructure Engineer at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group sponsor H-1B visas for Infrastructure Engineers?
Yes, Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group sponsors H-1B visas for Infrastructure Engineers. The company operates across energy and utility infrastructure projects nationwide, and its hiring patterns reflect a consistent need for specialized engineering talent that includes international candidates. You'll want to confirm sponsorship availability for the specific role and location during the recruiter screening call, as project-based positions can vary.
How do I apply for Infrastructure Engineer jobs at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group?
You can browse and apply for Infrastructure Engineer positions at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group directly through Migrate Mate, which filters open roles by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm eligibility before applying. Quanta maintains a large and active pipeline of Infrastructure Engineer openings tied to energy projects across the U.S., so new roles appear regularly. Tailoring your application to the specific project type or region listed in the job posting improves your chances with their recruiting team.
Which visa types does Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group commonly use for Infrastructure Engineers?
Quanta sponsors H-1B visas for Infrastructure Engineers in full-time roles, and also accommodates F-1 students through both OPT and CPT for qualifying positions. TN visa sponsorship is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible engineering classifications. The right visa type depends on your current status, degree field, and the specific role, so it's worth clarifying with the recruiter before advancing in the process.
What qualifications does Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group expect for Infrastructure Engineer roles?
Quanta's Infrastructure Engineer roles in the energy sector typically require a bachelor's degree in civil, electrical, or systems engineering, along with hands-on experience in transmission, distribution, or utility construction. Familiarity with grid infrastructure, project delivery in field environments, and relevant certifications such as a PE license or EIT designation strengthen your profile. If your degree is from outside the U.S., a credential evaluation from a NACES-member organization confirms equivalency for the H-1B specialty occupation requirement.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for an Infrastructure Engineer offer at Quanta?
For H-1B sponsorship, Quanta must first file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL, which typically takes seven business days, before submitting the H-1B petition to USCIS. Standard USCIS adjudication runs three to six months. Premium processing reduces that to 15 business days. If you're on F-1 OPT, work can begin on your authorization start date, but you'll want your H-1B filing timed to the April 1 cap season to avoid a gap.
