- Build dashboards, automated reports, and data pipelines that give project leadership real-time visibility into what matters most
AI & Technology Expertise
- Maintain strong knowledge of LLM capabilities, implementation patterns, and AI product development stacks
Stakeholder Management & Adoption
- Manage relationships across leadership, field teams, and corporate functions
- Align priorities, communicate progress, and drive adoption of new tools and processes

- Translate field needs into technical solutions and technical capabilities into practical applications
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Qualifications Required:
- 5+ years of experience in technical roles solving complex operational problems such as technology consulting, solution architecture, solutions engineering, construction technology, or a similar embedded technical role.

Align your credentials to energy infrastructure standards
Quanta's Solution Engineer roles sit at the intersection of field operations and technical sales. Frame your engineering credentials around power delivery, grid systems, or industrial infrastructure so your background speaks directly to their project pipeline.
Target roles in Quanta's operating company network
Quanta operates through subsidiaries across electric, pipeline, and renewable segments. Applying directly to the operating company hiring for your region increases your visibility with the team that actually controls the offer, not just a central recruiter.
Get your credential evaluation done before applying
If your engineering degree is from outside the U.S., get a NACES-member credential evaluation completed upfront. Quanta's H-1B petitions require USCIS to confirm specialty occupation status, and a foreign degree equivalency letter strengthens that determination.
Clarify OPT or CPT authorization timing with HR early
If you're on F-1 status, ask the hiring team at the offer stage whether the role qualifies under your authorized field of study. STEM OPT extensions give you up to 36 months of work authorization, which covers the period between OPT start and H-1B cap-subject filing.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Solution Engineer roles
Quanta posts across multiple operating companies, which makes tracking openings manually unreliable. Use Migrate Mate to filter Solution Engineer roles at Quanta by visa sponsorship type so you're only applying to positions where your authorization situation is already accounted for.
Prepare for the LCA before your start date
Your employer files a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before submitting your H-1B petition. Confirm the prevailing wage level for your role and location before signing an offer, since the LCA wage determines your minimum salary for the duration of your status.

Find Solution Engineer at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group sponsor H-1B visas for Solution Engineers?
Yes, Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group has sponsored H-1B visas for Solution Engineer roles. Because the H-1B requires demonstrating specialty occupation status, your application is strongest when your engineering degree directly aligns with the technical scope of the role. Quanta's project-based work in energy infrastructure typically supports that designation, but the specific job duties in the offer letter matter for the USCIS determination.
How do I apply for Solution Engineer jobs at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group?
Quanta hires Solution Engineers through its network of operating companies, so openings are posted across multiple entities rather than a single careers page. The most reliable approach is to search for Solution Engineer roles filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility. Migrate Mate aggregates these openings and lets you filter by visa type, so you can identify which postings are open to sponsored candidates before investing time in the application.
Which visa types are commonly used for Solution Engineer roles at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group?
Quanta sponsors H-1B visas for full-time Solution Engineers, which is the primary pathway for candidates who need long-term work authorization. F-1 OPT and CPT are also supported, making Quanta accessible to recent graduates still within their authorized training period. TN status is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals whose engineering credentials meet the USMCA engineer category requirements.
What qualifications does Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group expect for Solution Engineer roles?
Solution Engineer roles at Quanta typically require an engineering background in electrical, civil, or a related discipline, combined with experience in technical project delivery or client-facing infrastructure work. Familiarity with utility-scale systems, grid interconnection, or industrial construction differentiates candidates. For H-1B eligibility, your degree field needs to correspond directly to the job's technical requirements, so generalist engineering backgrounds may need supplementary documentation.
How do I time my application around the H-1B cap filing window?
USCIS opens H-1B cap registrations in March each year for an October 1 start date. If you're on F-1 OPT, your authorization needs to bridge that gap. A STEM OPT extension, which lasts up to 24 additional months beyond your initial 12-month OPT, is the most common way to stay authorized while waiting for an approved H-1B. Confirming your OPT expiration date against the filing calendar should happen before you finalize an offer with Quanta.
