Frame Your Experience Around Energy Infrastructure Projects
Quanta operates across transmission, distribution, and pipeline projects. When building your resume, align your Solution Manager experience to large-scale infrastructure delivery, not generic consulting. Highlight project lifecycle ownership and cross-functional coordination in energy or utilities contexts specifically.
Verify Your Role Qualifies as a Specialty Occupation
USCIS requires H-1B roles to qualify as specialty occupations, meaning the position normally requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field. For Solution Manager roles, document how your engineering, project management, or operations degree directly ties to the job duties Quanta lists.
Target Quanta's Subsidiary and Divisional Job Listings Separately
Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group operates through multiple subsidiaries. Open Solution Manager roles may be posted under different entity names. Search each subsidiary's listings individually rather than only checking the parent brand, so you don't miss active openings that are filed under a related employer entity.
Use Migrate Mate to Surface Active Solution Manager Openings
Browse current Solution Manager listings at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group directly on Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for visa-sponsoring employers in energy. This saves time you'd otherwise spend manually screening roles that don't support international candidates.
Time Your Application Around Energy Sector Hiring Cycles
Infrastructure project demand in the energy sector typically accelerates in Q1 and Q3, when Quanta ramps staffing ahead of construction seasons. Submitting applications in January or July positions you ahead of peak requisition volume, giving your H-1B petition more runway before the April 1 USCIS cap-subject filing window.
Clarify Cap-Exempt Filing Options If You Hold F-1 OPT
If you're currently on F-1 OPT, Quanta can file your H-1B petition before your OPT expires without waiting for the lottery, provided they initiate the process early enough. Confirm with their HR team whether they use premium processing, since USCIS adjudicates those petitions within 15 business days.

Does Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group sponsor H-1B visas for Solution Managers?
Yes, Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group has sponsored H-1B visas for roles in this function. For Solution Manager positions specifically, sponsorship is most accessible when your background aligns tightly with their infrastructure project delivery work in energy sectors like transmission or pipeline. Confirm sponsorship availability directly with their recruiter early in the process, before advancing to technical interviews.
How do I apply for Solution Manager jobs at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group?
Start by identifying open Solution Manager roles through Quanta's careers portal or via Migrate Mate, which aggregates visa-sponsoring listings in energy. Tailor your application to emphasize end-to-end project ownership and client coordination in infrastructure settings. After submitting, follow up with the recruiting team to confirm the role is open to H-1B or other sponsored candidates before the process moves forward.
Which visa types are commonly used for Solution Manager roles at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group?
Quanta has sponsored H-1B visas for technical and operations roles, and the company also works with candidates on F-1 OPT and CPT for shorter-term or transitional arrangements. TN visas are an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals who qualify under USMCA professional categories. The right visa type depends on your nationality, degree field, and how the Solution Manager role is structured within their organization.
What qualifications does Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group expect for Solution Manager roles?
Solution Manager roles at Quanta typically require a degree in engineering, project management, or a closely related technical field, along with demonstrated experience managing complex infrastructure or energy projects. Familiarity with field operations coordination, subcontractor management, and client delivery in sectors like transmission, distribution, or pipeline construction strengthens your profile significantly. Certifications like PMP are advantageous but not always required.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take if I receive a Solution Manager offer from Quanta?
If you're applying through the H-1B cap, your employer must file between April 1 and the lottery selection period, with employment starting no earlier than October 1. That's a six-month gap between filing and start date. If Quanta uses premium processing, USCIS adjudicates the petition within 15 business days of receipt. F-1 OPT candidates can typically start sooner if their authorization period covers the transition.
