Align your credentials with U.S. energy infrastructure standards
Quanta's Civil Project Manager roles typically require a civil or construction engineering degree and PMP or PE credentials. Have your international degree evaluated by a NACES-approved credential evaluator before applying, so your qualifications translate cleanly for both hiring managers and USCIS petitions.
Target Quanta's utility and transmission project pipelines
Quanta staffs Civil Project Managers by active project region, not just headquarters. Search openings tied to specific transmission, substation, or renewable energy projects, since those postings are more likely to reflect immediate hiring needs with budget already approved for sponsorship.
Clarify sponsorship eligibility before the offer stage
TN visa eligibility for Civil Project Manager roles depends on the specific job duties aligning with the engineer or management consultant categories. Confirm with the recruiter early which visa type Quanta intends to file, so there are no surprises after an offer is extended.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Civil Project Manager openings
Sponsorship-confirmed roles at large infrastructure firms are hard to isolate on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Civil Project Manager positions at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group that are open to visa sponsorship, saving time on applications unlikely to move forward.
Prepare your LCA documentation for the DOL filing
For H-1B sponsorship, Quanta's HR team files a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before USCIS can process Form I-129. Gather your offer letter, job description, and work location details early, since the LCA must certify prevailing wage compliance for the specific project site.
Plan around F-1 OPT cap-gap timing if applicable
If you're on F-1 OPT when Quanta files an H-1B petition, your work authorization can extend through cap-gap rules while the petition is pending. Confirm your OPT expiration date against USCIS H-1B cap filing windows so you and Quanta HR can time the transition correctly.

Find Civil Project Manager at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group sponsor H-1B visas for Civil Project Managers?
Yes, Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group sponsors H-1B visas for Civil Project Manager roles. The process involves your employer filing a Labor Condition Application with the DOL and then submitting Form I-129 to USCIS. Because H-1B approvals are subject to the annual cap and lottery, timing your application with Quanta's hiring cycle matters significantly.
How do I apply for Civil Project Manager jobs at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group?
You can apply directly through Quanta's careers portal or find sponsorship-confirmed openings through Migrate Mate, which filters for roles open to visa sponsorship. Tailor your resume to highlight large-scale civil or energy infrastructure project experience, PE or PMP credentials, and familiarity with utility construction environments to align with what Quanta's hiring teams prioritize.
Which visa types are commonly used for Civil Project Manager roles at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group?
Quanta sponsors H-1B visas for Civil Project Managers requiring specialty occupation status, along with F-1 OPT and F-1 CPT for recent graduates and current students in engineering or construction management programs. TN visas are also supported for Canadian and Mexican nationals whose Civil Project Manager duties fall within qualifying USMCA professional categories.
What qualifications and experience does Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group expect for Civil Project Manager roles?
Quanta generally looks for a bachelor's degree in civil, structural, or construction engineering, along with direct experience managing field operations on transmission, substation, or utility infrastructure projects. PMP or PE licensure strengthens candidacy considerably. Experience coordinating subcontractors, reading construction drawings, and managing schedules on high-voltage or energy infrastructure projects is particularly relevant.
How do I time my visa sponsorship process when pursuing a role at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group?
If you're targeting H-1B sponsorship, Quanta would need to file during the annual cap registration window, typically opening in March for an October 1 start date. For TN or OPT-based employment, timelines are more flexible. Discussing your current visa status and expiration date with Quanta's recruiter early helps both sides plan the filing sequence without gaps in work authorization.
