Align your credentials to U.S. PE standards

Target DOT and federal infrastructure project listings
Michael Baker's civil work is heavily tied to state DOT and federal contracts. Search their open roles for project types matching your experience, whether highway, bridge, or transit, since government contract portfolios directly shape which offices have active headcount and sponsorship budget.
Clarify LCA timing before accepting an offer
Your employer must file a certified Labor Condition Application with the DOL before USCIS can process your H-1B petition. Ask your recruiter when the LCA process typically begins relative to your start date so you're not caught waiting on federal processing after signing.
