Align your PE license before applying
Civil Project Manager roles at Carollo typically require or strongly prefer a Professional Engineer license. Confirm your PE is active and transferable to the states where Carollo has active project work before you apply.
Target Carollo's water infrastructure project hubs
Carollo concentrates hiring around regions with major municipal water and wastewater programs. Research which offices are actively staffing project delivery teams, since sponsorship decisions are often made at the office level, not company-wide.
Frame your resume around project delivery ownership
Carollo Project Managers are expected to own client relationships and budgets, not just technical tasks. Highlight specific projects where you managed scope, schedule, and subconsultants directly, since that's what hiring managers are screening for.
Clarify your visa timeline during the offer stage
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT end date and whether your STEM extension is available before accepting an offer. USCIS requires the H-1B cap-subject petition to be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start, so misaligned timelines can stall your start date.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open Civil Project Manager roles
Carollo posts openings across multiple locations, and not all appear consistently on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Carollo's sponsored Civil Project Manager positions so you're applying to verified, sponsorship-eligible openings.
Understand how PERM affects your long-term path
For EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, Carollo must complete PERM labor certification through DOL before filing your immigrant petition. Ask your recruiter whether the firm initiates PERM while you're on H-1B status, since timelines from filing to approval commonly run 18 months or longer.

Find Civil Project Manager at Carollo Engineers JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Carollo Engineers sponsor H-1B visas for Civil Project Managers?
Yes, Carollo Engineers sponsors H-1B visas for Civil Project Managers. The firm operates as a federal contractor and regularly files H-1B petitions for engineering roles. If you're already on H-1B status with another employer, Carollo can file an H-1B transfer, which allows you to start working as soon as the transfer petition is received by USCIS.
Which visa types does Carollo Engineers commonly sponsor for Civil Project Manager roles?
Carollo sponsors a range of visa types for Civil Project Managers, including H-1B, E-3 (for Australian citizens), TN (for Canadian and Mexican nationals), and F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates. For candidates seeking permanent residence, the firm also supports EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process filed with DOL.
What qualifications does Carollo Engineers expect for Civil Project Manager positions?
Carollo typically looks for a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, several years of project management experience in water or wastewater infrastructure, and an active Professional Engineer license. Strong client-facing skills and experience managing project budgets and subconsultants directly are practical requirements, not just nice-to-haves, at the project manager level.
How do I apply for Civil Project Manager jobs at Carollo Engineers?
You can browse and apply for Carollo's Civil Project Manager openings directly through their careers portal, or use Migrate Mate to filter for positions at Carollo that offer visa sponsorship. When applying, tailor your resume to emphasize project delivery ownership, PE licensure, and relevant water or wastewater experience to move past initial screening.
How do I plan my timeline if Carollo Engineers offers me H-1B sponsorship?
If you need a new cap-subject H-1B, USCIS opens the registration window in March for an October 1 start date. You cannot begin work under a new H-1B before October 1 unless you're already in valid H-1B status via a transfer. If you're on OPT, confirm your expiration date early in the process so Carollo's legal team can plan the petition accordingly.
