Align your credentials to infrastructure engineering standards
Quanta operates across transmission, distribution, and renewable energy projects. Frame your resume around PE licensure, NERC standards, or grid interconnection experience. USCIS scrutinizes specialty occupation status for engineering managers, so your credentials need to map directly to the role's technical requirements.
Target Quanta's regional operating companies strategically
Quanta functions through a network of subsidiary companies across energy markets. Solutions Engineering Manager openings often appear under subsidiary brands, not just the parent entity. Search across all affiliated operating companies to avoid missing active roles that carry sponsorship eligibility.
Confirm E-Verify enrollment before your first interview
As a federal contractor in energy infrastructure, Quanta maintains E-Verify enrollment, which is a prerequisite for any employer-sponsored visa. Verifying this upfront means you can ask about sponsorship with confidence rather than discovering eligibility gaps late in the offer process.
Use Migrate Mate to surface Solutions Engineering Manager openings
Sponsorship-eligible roles at infrastructure companies like Quanta are often buried across subsidiary postings. Use Migrate Mate to filter Solutions Engineering Manager jobs at Quanta by visa type, so you're only applying to roles where sponsorship is confirmed.
Prepare your TN documentation for cross-border engineering roles
If you're a Canadian or Mexican national, TN status covers engineers under USMCA without a lottery or annual cap. For a Solutions Engineering Manager role, your documentation should clearly establish an engineering degree and that the position requires that engineering specialization, not just management experience.
Front-load the H-1B timeline conversation during negotiations
H-1B cap-subject petitions have an April filing deadline for October 1 start dates. If your offer comes outside that window, discuss cap-exempt options or a deferred start with HR before signing. Energy infrastructure companies with government contracts sometimes qualify for cap-exempt filings through affiliated research entities.

Find Solutions Engineering Manager at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group sponsor H-1B visas for Solutions Engineering Managers?
Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group has sponsored H-1B visas for engineering and technical roles, and Solutions Engineering Manager positions fall within the specialty occupation categories that support H-1B eligibility. Because this is a management-level engineering role, your petition will need to clearly demonstrate that the position requires at minimum a bachelor's degree in a specific technical discipline. Working with an immigration attorney during the offer stage helps ensure the job description is framed correctly for USCIS review.
How do I apply for Solutions Engineering Manager jobs at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group?
Quanta posts openings through its corporate careers portal and across its subsidiary operating companies, which can make finding all active roles time-consuming. Migrate Mate aggregates Solutions Engineering Manager positions at Quanta filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility, so you can identify relevant openings without manually tracking each subsidiary. When applying, tailor your application to highlight technical depth in energy infrastructure alongside your leadership experience, since both dimensions are evaluated for this level.
Which visa types are commonly used for Solutions Engineering Manager roles at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group?
The most common pathways for this role are H-1B for most international candidates and TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals with engineering degrees. F-1 OPT and CPT are also sponsored, making Quanta accessible to recent graduates on post-completion work authorization. For OPT candidates, the 12-month standard period and 24-month STEM extension can provide enough runway to transition to a sponsored H-1B if you're working in a qualifying STEM field.
What qualifications and experience does Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group expect for Solutions Engineering Manager roles?
Quanta's Solutions Engineering Manager roles typically require a technical degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a closely related discipline, combined with hands-on experience in energy infrastructure such as transmission systems, substation design, or grid-scale renewables. Because this is a senior role, demonstrating experience leading cross-functional technical teams on large capital projects carries significant weight. Professional Engineer licensure strengthens both your candidacy and your H-1B or TN specialty occupation case.
How do I manage the timeline between a job offer and visa filing for a Solutions Engineering Manager position?
The most important variable is where you currently stand in your visa status. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT expiration and whether you qualify for a STEM extension before your start date. For H-1B, cap-subject filings must be submitted in April for an October 1 start, so offers extended in summer or fall typically require a deferred start or a bridge arrangement. Align on these dates with Quanta's HR team as early as the offer negotiation stage to avoid gaps in work authorization.
