Frame your PMP around clinical trial delivery
Syneos Health hires project managers to own study timelines, vendor oversight, and sponsor relationships across complex trials. Credential your experience in phases like IND-to-approval or site activation to match what their hiring teams actually evaluate.
Confirm E-Verify enrollment before applying
As a federal contractor, Syneos Health participates in E-Verify, which means your work authorization must be verifiable on day one. Understand exactly what your current status allows before your first interview so there are no surprises at the offer stage.
Target roles that align with your visa category
H-1B, TN, and F-1 OPT each carry different start-date constraints and employer obligations. Cross-reference your authorization timeline with Syneos Health's posted openings so you're applying to roles that can realistically accommodate your status and any USCIS processing windows.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Syneos Health openings
Not every Syneos Health project manager listing is open to sponsorship candidates. Use Migrate Mate to surface the specific Experienced Project Manager postings where visa sponsorship is confirmed, saving time you'd otherwise spend on roles that won't move forward.
Build your LCA paper trail before your start date
For H-1B sponsorship, DOL requires a certified Labor Condition Application before USCIS can approve your petition. Ask your Syneos Health recruiter early which legal counsel handles their LCA filings so you understand the employer's internal timeline and aren't caught in a processing gap.
Prepare a EB-2 or EB-3 conversation for long-term roles
Clinical research companies with sustained project manager demand often support PERM-based Green Card sponsorship for proven employees. Once you've secured an H-1B or TN offer, ask HR whether the role qualifies for an employment-based immigrant visa pathway down the line.

Find Experienced Project Manager at Syneos Health JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Syneos Health sponsor H-1B visas for Experienced Project Managers?
Yes, Syneos Health sponsors H-1B visas for Experienced Project Manager roles. The company has a documented sponsorship history for this function, which requires employers to file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL and submit a petition to USCIS. Because Syneos Health is a federal contractor enrolled in E-Verify, your work authorization must be confirmed at the point of hire, so aligning your H-1B cap or transfer timeline with the role's start date is critical.
How do I apply for Experienced Project Manager jobs at Syneos Health?
Applications go through Syneos Health's careers portal, where most postings are listed by therapeutic area or service line. To identify which openings are realistically open to sponsorship candidates, browse the Experienced Project Manager listings on Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for visa-sponsoring roles. Tailoring your application to highlight clinical trial delivery experience, cross-functional leadership, and sponsor-facing communication will strengthen your candidacy.
Which visa types does Syneos Health commonly use for Experienced Project Managers?
Syneos Health sponsors H-1B visas as the primary work authorization path for Experienced Project Managers. The company also supports F-1 OPT extensions, which can be useful for recent graduates, and TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals who qualify under USMCA professional categories. For longer-term hires, Syneos Health has supported EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through PERM labor certification for employees in established project management roles.
What qualifications does Syneos Health expect for an Experienced Project Manager role?
Syneos Health typically looks for a bachelor's degree in a life sciences, healthcare, or related field, along with substantial experience managing clinical trials from site activation through closeout. PMP certification is valued but not always required. Demonstrated ability to manage CRO or sponsor relationships, oversee study budgets, and lead cross-functional teams is weighted heavily. Roles at the senior level often require experience with global studies across multiple therapeutic areas.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Syneos Health project manager offer?
For H-1B transfers, USCIS allows you to start work as soon as the petition is filed if you're already in valid H-1B status, which can compress the timeline significantly. New H-1B cap petitions take effect October 1 following the April lottery. TN status for Canadian nationals can often be granted at the border on the day of travel. Build in time for Syneos Health's internal LCA filing with DOL, which must be certified before USCIS submission.
