UST delivers DevOps solutions to large enterprise clients, so experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP combined with tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, or Jenkins will resonate far more than a generalist profile.

Find DevOps at UST JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does UST sponsor H-1B visas for DevOps roles?
Yes, UST sponsors H-1B visas for DevOps positions. The company has a well-established sponsorship process for technology roles, and DevOps engineers working on cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform engineering are among the functions it supports. If you're currently on OPT or a different nonimmigrant status, confirm the specific role's eligibility during the offer conversation.
How do I apply for DevOps jobs at UST?
You can find open DevOps positions at UST through their careers site or by browsing Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm H-1B or Green Card eligibility upfront. When applying, tailor your resume to UST's enterprise delivery focus, highlighting cloud platforms, infrastructure-as-code tools, and CI/CD experience relevant to large-scale client environments.
Which visa types does UST commonly use for DevOps professionals?
UST sponsors both nonimmigrant and immigrant visa pathways for DevOps roles. H-1B is the most common nonimmigrant route for specialty occupation positions. For longer-term permanent residence, UST supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process filed with DOL, typically initiated after you've been employed for a qualifying period.
What qualifications does UST expect for sponsored DevOps positions?
Most UST DevOps roles require a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related field, which also satisfies the specialty occupation requirement for H-1B classification. Practically, you'll need hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider, container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation tools. Enterprise-scale project experience is a significant differentiator given UST's client base.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take if I receive an offer from UST?
For H-1B sponsorship, UST must file your petition during the April 1 filing window, with employment starting October 1 at the earliest under cap-subject processing. If you're changing status from OPT, factor in that timeline when negotiating your start date. For Green Card sponsorship through PERM, DOL processing alone typically runs one to two years before USCIS receives the immigrant petition.
