Build and operationalize structured feedback loops between customer-facing teams (Sales, Success, Merchant Operations) and Product. Translate market, customer, and competitive insights into actionable product and business recommendations. Ensure that insights from merchants, partners, and consumers inform future product strategy and roadmap prioritization.
Partner Cross-Functionally to Drive Impact
Collaborate with Product and Data teams to synthesize insights from customer data, market trends, and usage analytics to inform strategic decisions. Partner with Communications, Brand, and Investor Relations to ensure consistent messaging across audiences and moments.

Align your portfolio to fintech growth narratives
Affirm's marketing leadership hires skew toward candidates who've driven acquisition or retention in regulated financial products. Before applying, reframe your portfolio around performance metrics in payments, lending, or consumer finance rather than general brand work.
Confirm LCA filing before accepting any offer
For H-1B transfers or new filings, your employer must file a certified Labor Condition Application with DOL before USCIS can process your petition. Ask Affirm's recruiting team which law firm handles their immigration matters and confirm this step is in their offer workflow.
Target roles that sit above the marketing manager tier
Affirm's Director-level marketing openings are typically tied to product lines like Adaptive Checkout or Affirm Card. Applying to a role with clear product ownership strengthens your specialty occupation case because the degree-to-job connection is more defensible than a generalist marketing title.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Affirm's open Marketing Director roles
Affirm posts across multiple job boards, but not all listings are current. Use Migrate Mate to filter verified Marketing Director openings at Affirm that are actively sponsoring visas, so you're not wasting time on roles that won't support your visa type.
Prepare for a longer timeline if PERM is required
If you're targeting a Green Card through Affirm via the PERM labor certification process, DOL recruitment requirements add several months before your I-140 petition can be filed. Factor this into your current status expiration and discuss timeline expectations during the offer stage.

Find Marketing Director at Affirm JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Affirm sponsor H-1B visas for Marketing Directors?
Yes, Affirm sponsors H-1B visas for Marketing Director roles. Marketing Directors at Affirm typically qualify as specialty occupation workers given the degree requirements in marketing, business, or a related field. Affirm works with outside immigration counsel to handle LCA filings with DOL and petition submissions to USCIS, so the infrastructure for sponsorship is already in place.
How do I apply for Marketing Director jobs at Affirm?
Applications go through Affirm's careers portal. Most Marketing Director roles require a cover letter and resume tailored to Affirm's product ecosystem, particularly their buy-now-pay-later and merchant partnership verticals. Before applying, confirm the role explicitly mentions visa sponsorship or reach out to the recruiter directly to avoid investing time in a role that won't support your status. Migrate Mate curates verified sponsorship-eligible listings from Affirm in one place.
Which visa types does Affirm commonly use for Marketing Director roles?
Affirm sponsors H-1B, TN, and F-1 OPT for marketing leadership hires, and supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-term employees. TN visas apply to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. F-1 OPT and STEM OPT are common entry points before transitioning to H-1B sponsorship after the annual lottery.
What qualifications does Affirm expect for a sponsored Marketing Director?
Affirm's Marketing Director roles typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, business, communications, or a closely related field, plus substantial experience in growth, brand, or product marketing within fintech or financial services. Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and ownership of measurable revenue or acquisition outcomes are consistently emphasized across their Director-level marketing postings.
How do I think about timing when pursuing a Marketing Director role at Affirm on a work visa?
If you need an H-1B cap filing, the annual lottery runs in March for an October 1 start date. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, Affirm can file an H-1B transfer and you can start after USCIS acknowledges receipt. OPT holders should apply early enough to leave room for premium processing if needed, since USCIS premium processing currently runs about 15 business days.
