ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you will (but not limited to):
- Perform routine manual labor involved in maintaining the golf course.
- Perform semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work.
- Operate mowers and string trimmers in cutting greens, aprons, collars, tees, hillsides, ditches, and around trees, fence lines, and banks.
- Edge and assist with the maintenance of cart paths.
- Edge, rake, and maintain sand bunkers.
- Maintain fuel and fluid levels in equipment used on a daily basis.
- Report equipment problems/failure to the Equipment Manager immediately.
- Assist with construction projects on and off of the golf course.
- May be trained to operate mowers, dump trucks and other light equipment.
- Clean maintenance area.
REQUIREMENTS
- A valid driver’s license.
- Dependable and reliable: able to get to work on time, do assigned tasks and follow instructions.
- Able to get along with co-workers and work as a team, as well as independently.
- Ability to push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and temperatures.
- This is a physical job in which 75% or more of the day is spent outdoors.
