Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
AutoZone's Customer Program Manager roles typically require a degree in business, supply chain, or a related field. Confirm your transcript reflects a directly relevant discipline before applying, since H-1B approval hinges on the degree-to-role connection.
Target AutoZone's commercial and fleet accounts divisions
Customer Program Manager openings at AutoZone cluster around commercial sales and fleet client portfolios. Focusing your search on those business units improves fit and signals to hiring managers that you understand the automotive B2B context they operate in.
Browse open roles using Migrate Mate
Filter Customer Program Manager listings at AutoZone by visa sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate to avoid roles where sponsorship isn't available. It saves time you'd otherwise spend chasing positions that won't move forward for international candidates.
Clarify OPT and CPT timing early in the process
If you're on F-1 status, confirm whether your OPT start date aligns with AutoZone's onboarding cycle. A gap between graduation and your OPT authorization can stall an offer, so have your EAD timeline ready before final interview stages.
Prepare for a multi-step offer and filing timeline
Once AutoZone extends an offer, H-1B cap-subject filings must align with USCIS's April registration window and an October 1 start date. If you need to start sooner, ask your recruiter whether a cap-exempt arrangement or interim status change is feasible.
Document client-facing metrics for Green Card PERM filings
AutoZone's EB-2 and EB-3 pathways require DOL PERM labor certification, which tests the job market with precise minimum requirements. Work with your employer's immigration counsel to define your role's requirements accurately so the PERM description matches your actual responsibilities.

Find Customer Program Manager at AutoZone JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does AutoZone sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Program Managers?
Yes, AutoZone sponsors H-1B visas for Customer Program Manager roles. The position generally qualifies as a specialty occupation given its degree requirements in business or a related field. Sponsorship is subject to the annual H-1B cap and USCIS lottery, so timing your application around the April registration window is essential.
Which visa types does AutoZone commonly use for Customer Program Manager roles?
AutoZone supports multiple visa categories for this role, including H-1B for specialty occupation workers, F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business or management occupations, and immigrant pathways through EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-term sponsorship.
What qualifications and experience does AutoZone expect for Customer Program Manager positions?
AutoZone typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field combined with experience managing B2B or commercial client relationships. Familiarity with automotive parts distribution, fleet account management, or retail operations strengthens an application considerably for this function.
How do I apply for Customer Program Manager jobs at AutoZone?
You can browse and apply for Customer Program Manager roles at AutoZone filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate, which surfaces only positions open to international candidates. From there, applications flow through AutoZone's standard recruiting process, which typically includes a phone screen, panel interviews focused on client relationship scenarios, and a final offer stage.
How do I manage the timeline between an AutoZone offer and my visa filing?
If you're pursuing an H-1B, work with AutoZone's immigration team to register during the March lottery window for an October 1 start. For F-1 OPT holders, confirm your EAD expiration date and discuss whether a cap-gap extension applies if your OPT runs through the summer. TN visa holders can typically start faster since TN status can be obtained at a port of entry without a lengthy USCIS petition process.
