Align your credentials to logistics operations
Ryder's Customer Program Manager roles emphasize fleet management, supply chain coordination, and client retention. Frame your resume around measurable outcomes in these areas so your profile matches what their hiring teams screen for before sponsorship conversations begin.
Research Ryder's LCA filings through DOL
The Department of Labor's public LCA disclosure data shows which job titles Ryder has filed for and at what prevailing wage levels. Cross-reference this against Customer Program Manager postings to understand how the role is classified and what salary tier to negotiate from.
Target Ryder's enterprise and fleet account divisions
Customer Program Manager openings at Ryder are concentrated in divisions managing large commercial accounts. Filtering your search to those business units puts you in front of the hiring managers most familiar with sponsoring international professionals for client-facing roles.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by sponsorship
Ryder posts Customer Program Manager positions across multiple regions simultaneously, making it hard to identify which openings are actively sponsoring. Use Migrate Mate to surface and track only those roles where H-1B or Green Card sponsorship has been filed for comparable positions.
Clarify H-1B cap status before accepting an offer
If you're already in the U.S. on a valid H-1B from a previous employer, Ryder can file a cap-exempt transfer rather than waiting for the annual lottery. Confirm your current status documentation before the offer stage so the filing timeline is accurate from day one.
Build PERM readiness into your early employment plan
Ryder sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for this function, but PERM recruitment requirements mean the process starts well before your priority date becomes current. Start documenting your qualifications and job duties clearly in your first year to support the labor certification filing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Ryder System sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Program Managers?
Yes, Ryder System sponsors H-1B visas for Customer Program Manager roles. The company has an established pattern of filing for client-facing and operations management positions, which this role falls under. If you're already on an H-1B with another employer, Ryder can file a transfer petition without you needing to re-enter the lottery.
Which visa types does Ryder System commonly use for Customer Program Manager roles?
Ryder sponsors H-1B visas for nonimmigrant work authorization and pursues EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-term employment. Customer Program Manager positions typically qualify as specialty occupations under H-1B criteria given the degree requirements in business, logistics, or a related field. Green Card sponsorship generally follows after an established employment period.
What qualifications does Ryder System expect for Customer Program Manager roles?
Ryder typically looks for a bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, or a related field, combined with experience managing commercial client accounts or fleet service programs. Familiarity with logistics operations, contract management, and cross-functional coordination is weighted heavily. Roles at larger account divisions may also require experience with enterprise-level service agreements.
How do I apply for Customer Program Manager jobs at Ryder System?
You can browse and apply for Customer Program Manager positions at Ryder through Migrate Mate, which filters Ryder's open roles by sponsorship eligibility so you're not wasting time on postings unlikely to support visa candidates. Ryder's application process typically involves an initial recruiter screen, followed by interviews with operations and account management leaders.
How do I plan my timeline if Ryder System is sponsoring my H-1B?
H-1B petitions are filed in April for an October 1 start under the standard cap cycle, so your offer and petition preparation need to happen by late March. If you're transferring from an existing H-1B, Ryder can file at any point in the year and you can begin work once the receipt notice is issued. USCIS premium processing reduces the approval wait to 15 business days if timing is tight.
