Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
JPMorganChase's immigration team will assess whether your Customer Program Manager role qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS criteria. A degree in business, finance, or a directly related field strengthens that case considerably more than a general management background.
Target JPMorganChase's enterprise client-facing divisions
Customer Program Manager openings at JPMorganChase cluster in commercial banking and treasury services rather than retail operations. Focusing your applications on those lines of business puts you closer to teams where this title appears consistently and sponsorship is more routinely structured.
Understand which visa category fits your nationality
JPMorganChase sponsors multiple nonimmigrant visa types, including H-1B, H-1B1 for Chilean and Singaporean nationals, and E-3 for Australians. Knowing which category applies to you before your offer conversation helps you ask the right questions and avoids delays during the filing process.
Prepare for PERM timing in your career planning
If your long-term goal is a Green Card through EB-2 or EB-3, JPMorganChase's legal team typically initiates PERM labor certification after you've established yourself in the role. Building a documented record of client program outcomes early creates the evidentiary foundation that PERM applications rely on.
Use Migrate Mate to identify open Customer Program Manager roles
Searching broadly across job boards makes it hard to filter for roles where sponsorship is explicitly on the table. Migrate Mate surfaces Customer Program Manager positions at JPMorganChase that are open to visa sponsorship, so you're not wasting applications on postings that won't support your situation.
Clarify sponsorship scope before accepting an offer
JPMorganChase's sponsorship decisions can differ by business unit and hiring manager. Before signing, confirm in writing whether the offer includes filing fees, premium processing, and coverage for extension petitions. The H-1B initial petition and first extension are where most ambiguity surfaces.

Find Customer Program Manager at JPMorganChase JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Program Managers?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Customer Program Manager roles. The firm has an established immigration legal function that handles these filings across its business units. Your role will need to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, which generally requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field directly related to the position's responsibilities.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase commonly use for Customer Program Manager roles?
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for most nationalities and also files H-1B1 petitions for nationals of Chile and Singapore, as well as E-3 visas for Australian citizens. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, the firm works with EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories through the PERM labor certification process at the DOL.
What qualifications does JPMorganChase expect for Customer Program Manager positions?
JPMorganChase typically looks for candidates with a degree in business, finance, or a related field, combined with experience managing client relationships or large-scale programs in financial services. For visa sponsorship purposes, your academic background needs to align directly with the role's duties, since USCIS evaluates that connection closely when assessing specialty occupation eligibility.
How do I apply for Customer Program Manager jobs at JPMorganChase?
You can browse open Customer Program Manager positions at JPMorganChase through Migrate Mate, which filters for roles open to visa sponsorship so you're not applying blind. Once you identify a relevant opening, apply directly through JPMorganChase's careers portal. Tailor your application to the specific business unit, whether that's commercial banking, treasury services, or another division, since hiring processes vary across the firm.
How do I plan my timeline around JPMorganChase's H-1B filing process?
H-1B cap-subject petitions are filed in April for an October 1 start date, following a USCIS registration lottery in March. If you're already in the U.S. on OPT or CPT, JPMorganChase will typically time your offer and onboarding around that cycle. Premium processing is available and reduces USCIS adjudication to around 15 business days, which many employers use to reduce uncertainty before the start date.
