Align your credentials to JPMorganChase's engineering stack
JPMorganChase's Product Engineering Manager roles consistently emphasize cloud-native platforms, microservices architecture, and agile at scale. Frame your resume around delivery outcomes in these areas so your profile clears their technical screening before sponsorship even comes up.
Target divisions with dedicated engineering org structures
Chase's Consumer and Community Banking and the Commercial Bank each run independent engineering organizations with separate headcount budgets. Roles posted under these divisions are more likely to have established sponsorship workflows than roles in smaller or newer business units.
Raise sponsorship eligibility early in recruiter conversations
JPMorganChase recruiters handle high application volumes and route sponsorship questions to immigration counsel quickly. Stating your visa type and work authorization status in your first recruiter call prevents late-stage surprises and keeps your candidacy moving through the pipeline.
Understand how E-3 and H-1B1 fit JPMorganChase's filing process
For Australian and Singapore-Chilean nationals, E-3 and H-1B1 visas bypass the H-1B lottery entirely. JPMorganChase sponsors both, and because they're cap-exempt from the annual lottery, filing can happen year-round once an offer is confirmed, which shortens time-to-start significantly.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by sponsorship type
JPMorganChase posts Product Engineering Manager roles across multiple divisions simultaneously, and not all listings signal sponsorship willingness equally. Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsoring roles at JPMorganChase by visa type so you're targeting positions where your specific authorization is supported.
Prepare for PERM's prevailing wage documentation requirements
If JPMorganChase pursues an EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card for you, DOL's PERM process requires your offered salary to meet or exceed the prevailing wage for your role and location. Request clarity on the job description scope before your offer is finalized, since title and duties directly affect the wage determination.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Product Engineering Managers?
Yes. JPMorganChase is an active H-1B sponsor and has a long track record of filing petitions for Product Engineering Manager roles. The company works with immigration counsel to manage the annual H-1B cap lottery in April, so if you're targeting a role that requires initial H-1B status, you'll want to time your hiring process to align with the USCIS registration window, which typically opens in March.
How do I apply for Product Engineering Manager jobs at JPMorganChase?
Applications go through JPMorganChase's careers portal, where roles are posted by business line and location. Because the company hires across many divisions simultaneously, listings can be hard to track. Migrate Mate aggregates verified Product Engineering Manager openings at JPMorganChase filtered by visa sponsorship type, which makes it easier to identify the right role before applying directly through the company's portal.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase sponsor for Product Engineering Manager roles?
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 visa, and E-3 visas for nonimmigrant work authorization, and supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions through the PERM labor certification process for longer-term permanent residency. Australian citizens can pursue the E-3, which avoids the H-1B lottery. Singapore and Chilean nationals may qualify for H-1B1 visa. The right visa pathway depends on your nationality and where you are in the immigration process.
What qualifications does JPMorganChase expect for a sponsored Product Engineering Manager?
JPMorganChase's Product Engineering Manager roles typically require a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, along with hands-on experience managing engineering teams in an agile environment. For H-1B and E-3 sponsorship, the role must qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, which means the degree requirement must be specific to the position, not a general preference.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take at JPMorganChase for this role?
For H-1B, the timeline is tied to the USCIS lottery cycle, with a cap-subject start date of October 1 if selected in April's registration. E-3 and H-1B1 visa petitions can be filed year-round and generally process within a few weeks to a few months depending on consular wait times. If JPMorganChase pursues PERM for a Green Card, expect the process to span one to two years or more before an immigrant visa priority date becomes current.
