Frame your fintech leadership experience precisely
Brex's Product Engineering Manager roles require demonstrated ownership of payments, card infrastructure, or financial compliance systems. Tailor your resume to surface specific examples of leading engineers through regulatory or compliance-adjacent product work, not just general platform development.
Target roles tied to core financial products
Brex's engineering org is structured around product lines like corporate cards, expense management, and banking. Product Engineering Manager openings on those core teams historically move faster through headcount approval and tend to have stronger sponsorship precedent than newer or experimental verticals.
Negotiate H-1B filing timing during offer stage
If you're transitioning from OPT or TN status, clarify with Brex's recruiting team whether they'll file cap-subject H-1B in the April lottery or use cap-exempt pathways. Getting this confirmed in writing before you sign prevents gaps in work authorization.
Use Migrate Mate to identify open Product Engineering Manager roles at Brex
Brex posts engineering management roles across multiple teams simultaneously, and openings open and close quickly. Use Migrate Mate to filter Brex's current Product Engineering Manager listings specifically by visa type so you're only applying to positions where sponsorship is active.
Prepare for PERM requirements if targeting a Green Card
Brex sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for engineering managers, but PERM labor certification requires DOL to certify no qualified U.S. workers were available. Document your specialized fintech or payments experience thoroughly upfront, since that specialization is what differentiates your role in the PERM filing.

Find Product Engineering Manager at Brex JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Brex sponsor H-1B visas for Product Engineering Managers?
Yes. Brex sponsors H-1B visas for Product Engineering Manager roles and has a consistent record of doing so across its engineering organization. If you're already on H-1B with another employer, Brex can file an H-1B transfer, which lets you start working as soon as USCIS receives the petition rather than waiting for approval.
How do I apply for Product Engineering Manager jobs at Brex?
Apply directly through Brex's careers page, or use Migrate Mate to browse current Product Engineering Manager openings at Brex filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility. Brex's hiring process for engineering management roles typically includes a recruiter screen, a technical system design round, and several cross-functional leadership interviews before an offer is extended.
Which visa types does Brex commonly sponsor for Product Engineering Manager roles?
Brex sponsors H-1B, TN, and F-1 OPT and CPT for this role, and supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-term immigration planning. TN is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying specialty occupations. H-1B is the most common path for candidates coming from countries outside the TN treaty arrangement.
What qualifications does Brex expect for a Product Engineering Manager?
Brex generally looks for engineers who have moved into management and can operate at the intersection of technical architecture and product strategy. Experience leading teams that shipped payments infrastructure, financial compliance systems, or developer-facing financial APIs carries significant weight. A background in fintech or banking technology is a differentiator, not just a nice-to-have, given the regulatory complexity of Brex's core product.
How do I manage visa timing if I receive an offer from Brex?
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT expiration date and whether you qualify for the 24-month STEM OPT extension before signing. If an H-1B cap filing is required, the April lottery window creates a gap to plan around. For TN holders, the process is more straightforward since TN status can be obtained at the border when you start. Align your start date with Brex's HR team with your current status expiration in mind.
