Product at Brex
The Product team is at the forefront of Brex's mission to empower employees anywhere to make better financial decisions. With a deep understanding of the business, we identify and scope out the most impactful opportunities for Brex to tackle. We are responsible for aligning cross-functional teams — such as Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Design — on key decisions. We set strategy and drive products from inception to launch, enabling Brex to grow rapidly and help our customers reach their full potential.
What You’ll Do
Brex has an abundance of opportunities to develop tech-enabled infrastructure and applications to drive GTM productivity, measured by pipeline dollars, conversion rates, customer activation, retention, and ultimately revenue. This role will drive key initiatives to work with a dedicated Engineering and Design team and a set of XFN partners to develop tech-enabled tooling, infrastructure, and applications to support Brex’s revenue growth and retention. Brex is at the forefront of re-architecting its GTM systems with modern, AI-powered infrastructure. You’ll work with a dedicated engineering team and cross-functional leadership partners to design and build scalable systems that increase productivity and revenue leverage across the funnel.
This Includes Initiatives Such As
- AI agents embedded across GTM workflows — designing, deploying, and iterating on autonomous agents that handle prospecting, lead qualification, customer onboarding, and lifecycle engagement
- Intelligent outbound and lifecycle automation — building systems that dynamically personalize outreach timing, channel, and messaging based on real-time signals
- Pipeline prioritization and scoring — helping improve our ML-driven models that continuously learn from conversion outcomes
- Application and onboarding optimization — using AI to reduce friction, predict drop-off, and adaptively guide customers through activation
- Experimentation infrastructure — standing up frameworks to rapidly test AI-driven interventions across the funnel, with clear attribution to revenue outcomes
- Revenue tooling that compounds — building platforms (not point solutions) that make every rep and marketer measurably more productive over time
Where you’ll work
This role will be based in either our San Francisco, Seattle or New York City office. You must be willing to work in the office at least 3 days per week on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Employees will be able to work remotely for up to 4 weeks per year, for a minimum of one week at a time.
Responsibilities
- Own a critical GTM-related metric and define the product strategy and roadmap to drive step-change improvements.
- Identify structural bottlenecks across the revenue funnel — spanning tooling, automation, data, incentives, and workflows — and design systems to address them.
- Lead 0→1 and 1→N initiatives that re-architect Brex’s GTM infrastructure.
- Partner deeply with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, Engineering, Legal, IT, and Data to drive high-impact outcomes.
- Influence stakeholders and executives through clear strategy, strong business cases, and measurable results.
- Establish clear input and output metrics, and operate with rigor on experimentation, prioritization, and tradeoffs.
- Help define and scale Brex’s Growth Product function as it evolves.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling growth, revenue, or GTM systems in a high-growth technology company.
- Experience owning and materially moving company-level metrics.
- Strong systems thinking — ability to identify leverage points across product, process, and people systems.
- Demonstrated track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with executive visibility.
- Deep analytical fluency; comfortable working with funnel metrics, experimentation frameworks, and data tools (SQL proficiency preferred).
- High ownership mindset with the ability to operate in ambiguity and build from first principles.
Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is $240,000 - $300,000. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
Please be aware, job-seekers may be at risk of targeting by malicious actors looking for personal data. Brex recruiters will only reach out via LinkedIn or email with a brex.com domain. Any outreach claiming to be from Brex via other sources should be ignored.

Frame your PM experience around financial products
Brex evaluates PMs on fluency with payments, credit, or banking infrastructure. Before applying, reframe your resume around metrics like transaction volume, risk reduction, or compliance improvements rather than generic product delivery outcomes.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open PM roles at Brex
Brex posts PM roles across multiple product areas simultaneously, and openings can close quickly. Search Migrate Mate to filter actively sponsored Product Manager positions at Brex so you're applying to roles with confirmed sponsorship intent.
Understand the LCA filing timeline before your start date
Your employer files a Labor Condition Application with DOL before USCIS can process your H-1B petition. Factor in at least two to four weeks for LCA certification when negotiating a start date with Brex's recruiting team.
Prepare a specialty occupation case for your PM role
USCIS scrutinizes H-1B petitions for Product Manager titles because the role doesn't always map cleanly to a single degree requirement. Document how your specific Brex role requires a theoretical and practical application of a specialty field like computer science, finance, or economics.
Target Brex's infrastructure and compliance PM tracks
Brex's fintech model creates recurring demand for PMs who can work across regulated financial products. Roles tied to payment rails, expense compliance, or card network integrations tend to have clearer specialty occupation arguments, which strengthens your H-1B petition.

Find Product Manager at Brex JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Brex sponsor H-1B visas for Product Managers?
Yes, Brex sponsors H-1B visas for Product Manager roles. Because PM titles receive additional USCIS scrutiny under specialty occupation requirements, Brex's immigration counsel typically builds a detailed supporting brief tying the specific role to a qualifying degree field, such as computer science, finance, or economics. Candidates with a clean degree-to-role match are in the strongest position.
How do I apply for Product Manager jobs at Brex?
Applications go through Brex's careers portal. Roles are posted across multiple product areas and can move quickly from open to closed. To find Product Manager positions at Brex that include visa sponsorship, use Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for roles where sponsorship has been confirmed, so you're not guessing at eligibility after you've already applied.
Which visa types does Brex commonly use for Product Manager hires?
Brex sponsors H-1B and TN visas for full-time Product Manager hires, and also supports F-1 OPT and F-1 CPT for students and recent graduates. The TN is available only to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. For most international hires outside those groups, H-1B is the primary pathway and requires cap registration each spring.
What qualifications does Brex look for in Product Manager candidates?
Brex prioritizes PMs who can work across technical and financial domains simultaneously. Relevant backgrounds include experience shipping payments products, working with engineering teams on APIs or compliance workflows, and using data to drive product decisions in regulated environments. A degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or a related field strengthens both your candidacy and your H-1B specialty occupation argument.
How do I time a Brex PM offer around the H-1B cap cycle?
USCIS opens H-1B cap registration in March each year, with an October 1 start date for selected petitions. If you receive a Brex offer outside that window and aren't already H-1B exempt, you'll need to wait for the next registration cycle unless you hold a status like F-1 OPT with a STEM extension, which can bridge the gap by up to 24 months.
