At NVIDIA we meet customers where they are on their AI journey on our GPUs - this means we build best in class frameworks in OSS and support a robust eco-system of other OSS frameworks. As a Product Manager for AI Platform Recommender Systems, you will be responsible for building products for enabling frontier RecSys and Generative Recommendation Models on Nvidia systems.
As NVIDIA Product Managers, our goal is to enable researchers and operators to be successful on the NVIDIA Platform, and push the boundaries of what is possible in their research and research-to-production! Generative Recommender models are gaining momentum amongst our customers and partners. As Product Managers, we are the champions inside NVIDIA for frontier model builders looking to push the bounds of scale for current and emerging modeling paradigms on GPUs. We work directly with customers to identify key improvements, create roadmaps, and stay alert on the training/post training landscape. We also work with NVIDIA leaders to define clear product strategy, and marketing team teams to build go-to-market plans. The Product Management organization at NVIDIA is a small, strong, and impactful group. We focus on enabling deep learning across all GPU use cases and providing great products for our users. We are seeking a rare blend of product skills, technical depth, and passion to make NVIDIA great. Does that sound familiar? If so, we would love to hear from you!
What you'll be doing:
- Create and optimize pre-training/inference and post-training frameworks for RecSys and Generative Recommender researchers and production model builders
- Develop product strategy, roadmaps, and go-to-market plans
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to build product-based roadmaps for the E2E ML lifecycle
- Work with leadership to align with and drive company strategy
What we need to see:
- Experience with design and scaling of training/inference post training and optimization software (Torchtitan, FSDP)
- Demonstrable knowledge of GenAI or machine learning concepts, particularly around model training, performance optimization, inference, and software development and delivery
- Experience with large scale distributed systems
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar experience (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of technical product management, or similar, experience at a technology company
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ways to Stand Out from the crowd:
- Experience leading GR systems - GEM, TIGER
- Working on Open Source & Github-first developer products with deep customer interactions
- Knowledge of GPU architecture, HW/SW co-design, and performance profiling
Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 258,750 USD for Level 4, and 208,000 USD - 327,750 USD for Level 5.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
Applications for this job will be accepted at least until April 16, 2026.

Frame your PM experience around AI products
NVIDIA prioritizes PMs with experience shipping hardware-adjacent or AI-driven products. Before applying, reframe your resume around roadmap ownership, cross-functional execution with engineering teams, and measurable product outcomes in compute-heavy or platform contexts.
Target roles aligned with your visa category
NVIDIA sponsors both H-1B and E-3 visas. If you're Australian, the E-3 has no lottery and can be filed year-round. Identify open Product Manager requisitions that match your background, then confirm the role category aligns with what your visa classification requires as a specialty occupation.
Request LCA details before signing your offer
Before you accept an offer, ask the recruiting team which DOL wage level applies to your role. LCA prevailing wage levels affect your offered salary's compliance, and understanding your level upfront prevents surprises during the USCIS petition review.
Use Migrate Mate to find open PM roles
Searching broadly across job boards makes it hard to filter for verified sponsorship intent. Use Migrate Mate to browse Product Manager openings at NVIDIA filtered by visa type, so you're only applying to roles the company has a history of sponsoring.
Prepare for behavioral interviews with product depth
NVIDIA's PM interviews heavily weight product sense and technical fluency, particularly around GPU platforms, developer tools, or data center products. Review your experience with ambiguous product spaces and be ready to discuss tradeoffs between hardware constraints and software feature velocity.
Understand the H-1B cap and timing if you're on OPT
If you're currently on F-1 OPT, USCIS's H-1B cap means registration opens in March for an October 1 start date. If your OPT expires before October, confirm with NVIDIA's immigration team early whether you qualify for cap-exempt filing or need a cap-gap extension to bridge the gap.

Find Product Manager at NVIDIA JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does NVIDIA sponsor H-1B visas for Product Managers?
Yes, NVIDIA sponsors H-1B visas for Product Manager roles. The H-1B is the most common nonimmigrant work visa path for this function at the company. Because H-1B is subject to an annual cap and lottery, timing matters. NVIDIA's immigration team typically coordinates filings for new hires who need cap-subject petitions around the March registration window for an October 1 start.
Which visa types does NVIDIA sponsor for Product Manager roles?
NVIDIA sponsors H-1B and E-3 visas for nonimmigrant work authorization, along with EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories for longer-term permanent residence pathways. Australian citizens can pursue the E-3, which skips the lottery entirely. The EB-2 National Interest Waiver is another route some PMs explore independently, though employer-sponsored PERM remains the most common green card path at large tech employers.
How do I apply for Product Manager jobs at NVIDIA?
Applications go through NVIDIA's careers portal, but finding roles that align with your visa eligibility requires more than a keyword search. Migrate Mate lets you browse open Product Manager positions at NVIDIA filtered by the visa types the company sponsors, so you can focus your applications on roles with a realistic sponsorship path before investing time in the interview process.
What qualifications does NVIDIA expect for sponsored Product Manager roles?
NVIDIA's PM roles typically require a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a closely related technical field, which also satisfies the specialty occupation requirement for H-1B and E-3 eligibility. Beyond the degree, expect requirements around experience with complex hardware or software platforms, cross-functional roadmap ownership, and in many cases direct experience with AI, data center, or GPU-adjacent product domains.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take if I receive an offer from NVIDIA?
For H-1B, timeline depends on whether you're already in H-1B status or entering the cap. A transfer or amendment typically takes one to six months without premium processing. E-3 applicants can often move faster, with consular processing in Australia running two to four weeks in most periods. NVIDIA's HR and immigration team will outline the specific filing path and timeline after an offer is extended.
